He knew they would be crying when he died even though they didn’t care about him other than hoping they could get something from him while he was alive. It’s hard being an artist because once you start making it, all your friends see you as is a way to achieve something for themselves. I wish someone around him would have heard all of his lyrics while he was alive and gotten him some help. I liked your reaction a lot. It’s so sad because he was so young. I’ve been in recovery from heroin for 5 years and when I was his age I was doing the same shit. I should be dead, but I’m so grateful I’m not. I know in the moment it feels like no one cares and like life won’t get any better, but I promise it does. I have 2 children now with such a beautiful life and I couldn’t imagine still living that life. It’s so blatantly obvious that he was asking for help, but probably just didn’t know how. It’s hard as an addict though especially when you’re living a lifestyle where everyone around you is doing it and pushing it on you. Just know there is help out there and while it takes a lot of hard work, it’s 100% possible to live a better life. It doesn’t matter how old you are either, there’s always hope for you 🤍
