- For anyone who ever thought that Clark's feelings for Lois came out of nowhere in Season 9 - maybe they haven't been paying attention over the past five years! ;-)
So, here are a few of the many Clois scenes in the Kent Farm barn/loft. The first one is my favorite... it's so cute and funny. "The back seat is not to bad if you bend your legs and avoid the drive shaft" LOL ~ and I really love that song Fly at the end of the second scene! "Now, it all begins" If only it had after that... we all could have been spared the madness of Clark's other relationship(s)!
I wanted to show the progression of Clark and Lois' relationship given the change in the conversations and depth of emotion displayed in the scenes they have had in his loft.

People who think Clark's greatest weakness is Kryptonite, have never met Lois.
Even the D.C. Comics books over 60 years ago already have said that very same thing as you did. But D.C. Comics books writers couldn't have dream a better T.V. Shows like " Smallville Superboy " ‼️🇺🇸🦸🦹

The most impressive thing about lois and clark and that somehow with lois clark actualy was smarter and funny.With lana he was so head over hesls in the clouds it was annoying.When lois showed up i thought for sure she was gonna destroy him verbaly But he fought back with clever and funny answers even sarcasm.Best depiction of superman ive ever seen.
Yeah Tom Welling is definitely my favorite Clark Kent.
This is actually a really good point. I never quite thought about it that way. But with her I think Clark felt more confident and comfortable. He felt he had met someone who made him a better man.
He was smarter in a few ways once Lois arrived & also dumber in many though I wouldn't say it was Lois' fault. I'll explain:
1. He was smarter in the sense that when situations with Lois were involved, he didn't make the rash decisions he did with Lana, such as using the crystal in Reckoning to go back which cost Jonathan his life. With Lana he blamed himself & his arrival to Earth for her woes (dead parents, etc) because she played the victim card almost all the time. So when he told her his secret in Reckoning, he blamed himself for what happened to her even though it was her fault and she went to see Lex all on her own. Anyone in her position with knowledge of Lex's history should've known to avoid him like the plague until some time passed and she & Clark were able to come up with a plan of how to deal with Lex. With Lois this wasn't an issue because he never felt guilty about her regardless of when they were just friends or when things escalated. The closest it ever came to being how it was with Lana when he was considering Lois was in Infamous when he used the Legion ring, but he didn't do that out of guilt but instead out of necessity and thankfully nobody died other than Linda Lake but she made her own bed.
2. The way he got dumber had nothing to do with Lois in that when TPTB (the powers that be aka the executive producers & writers) made Chloe know the secret (especially when she fully knew as of Arrival), they really dumbed down Clark an incredible amount and this happened in the Lois era of the series. All of a sudden there were many situations where he couldn't think or act unless Chloe told him to. In the Kryptonsite forums, many of us started calling him a BDA (Big Dumb Alien) at the time because of that. He had to relearn lessons like helping people first and worrying about the consequences later like he did in Fade after he saved Graham Garrett who he learned later was a meteor freak hitman who killed people. He originally learned the same lesson in Hereafter after saving Coach Altman and he almost ended up killing Lana and her friend (and Jordan Cross almost died as well saving them with Clark). They dumbed down Clark to make Chloe look better and have her in a parental role which was really stupid since he already had his parents and they had a lot of reasons to keep Jonathan & Martha in the series. Not to mention someone who is roughly Clark's age giving him advice is unrealistic, especially when she had no prior experience dealing with him, his powers and the gravity of his secret. Compare him to how he was once Chloe knew his full secret to the proactive way he was when he was dealing with Morgan Edge and Lionel in season 3 and it's a night & day difference. Sure he made mistakes in seasons 1-3 but he was a young hero learning and doing what he needed to do. He still made mistakes in the BDA era but also showed a lack of action until Chloe got involved. I mean as soon as she is told that he's an alien, she literally told him "GO" in the hospital room when they were watching reports of what happened in Smallville on the TV in her room. That would've never been the case prior to that.
I love the Chemistry between Erica and Tom.

The scene where Lois said he was amazing because he can forgive people was the start. They looked at each other differently from then on. Their banter went from brother and sister joking to playful flirting after that.
This makes me say "Lana Lang who? Never heard of her.,"
The playful tension and build up is so great. The writers definitely captured the essence of Lois and Clark relationship so perfectly 👌
All scenes of Clark & Lois are really great. Remembering is living again!!
I really liked the question that he asked "what if my soul mate comes along and I'm to blind to see it" and then you notice Lois's reaction when he asks that question
NolanEP84 that and if im not mistaken its the episode with maxima and she told lois that they had a connection otherwise he wouldnt have been able to pull away from maxima
love the way they said it and smiled at each other- it was adorable
i'm a clois shipper and, man, was my patience tested with the entire lana thing dragging into multiple seasons.. but looking back.. i think clark had to grow up first before he and lois can actually kick off. lois doesn't seem to be the type who's interested w/ "boys" (that's why she couldn't initially get why chloe had such a crush on clark before). but wen clark suddenly showed some semblance of being a "man"... that definitely began to catch her attention.. (just saying)

I seriously love this Lois (Erica Durance) she is completely incredible. From being a starring guest to being asked to come on the show. She is Clark's Soul Mate.
So happy Lana is gone... Haha. I never really liked her whiny little brat--who actually walked all over him...
Yessssssssss preachhhhhh. She is so anoying. It was cute for some time, but the writers did too much with the Lana Drama. If there was less of Lana and more of other people or Lois to spicen up his love life, I wouldve been satisfied. Its a good show anyways. Good for this Covid 19.

Lol,it's so funny reading these comments about how people converted from being Clana fans to Clois fans (And rightly so!) because I was 6 years old when Smallville first premiered back in 2001,& I remember watching it with my Dad,& right when the episode ended I turned to him & said "This show seems really cool & all...but Dad,Where's Lois?!?!" xD Little did I know I would have to endure 4 years until Lois showed up,then another 5 years until they got together. I was patient! xD

@VarsityBlack ~ yeah, it's nice and it really shows how this couple has been getting stronger and stronger over the years. I'm not sure I've ever seen a relationship on TV grow for this long a period of real time - 5 years, is a long time to be friends and then something more. It makes it seem very real and therefore the strength of their love is very believable!
One thing I have notice that Lois Lane plays her roll perfectly and such an attractive young women her eyes her skin is excellent in my book she is babe ,what a fox 😍

i used to following these show when im graduate high school, only manage to watch season 1 and 2, becuase of college unable to continue, now im finishing season 10...it was awmazing, will watch it again soon, and maybe CW will continue season 11...wolud be great, im waiting and big hope.
Tom and Erica had so many great scenes together!! I loved how they progressed from buddies who teased and flirted with each other to being totally in love!! Great video!!

@starrynights1011 ~ I totally agree... just to have Clark say that she is the person that he has ALWAYS needed - there in the loft like that... it really did make me happy when I thought about it in perspective with the other scenes... Clark: "Who are you?" Lois: "Lois. Lois Lane." *Cue Smallville theme* I started jumping up & down,lol. :D Oh! Lois & Clark the New adventures of Superman? I used to watch re runs of that on TNT every morning before school! I thought Dean Cain was purty.xD

There was a time when the Vulcans and Humans could not imagine being in an interstellar alliance with each other even though they were technically allies, the two species had an adversarial-type alliance like Lois & Clark did before they fell in love. One minute they're getting along great and the next they act like they can't stand each other.

@Lexpelliarmus My sister kept wondering why they hadn't gotten rid of Lana in the 5th season. ;-) She got really pissed when they brought her back for a couple more episodes, I think it was the 8th season? Maybe the 9th. Not completely sure.

@keddy22mc ~ thanks for watching/commenting! I thought about the one in Aqua, but I felt that was very cliche; with the "I promise you'll meet someone even more special"... yeah, we know. Clarkie's foreshadowing about himself LOL - I guess the same can be said for Lois' line in Instinct about 'the right girl," but it's a little more subtle - the "harley" convo is good, but I have seen that in SO many videos already :-) I just love the 1st scene, so much with Lois' banter about homelessness!!
