well that says a lot about religions right? and i don't know another church that uses slave work force like sea org members or makes people disconnect from their family
@@rghmf Its easy to forget there are many religious inquisitions in the past that killed thousands of people and destroyed families for not believing in what others wanted.
@@Paineinyourblank true, i was talking about western religions but every religion has the possibility of becoming a nasty organization that will hurt their believers
As far as I am aware there are no mainstream religions where structures are secret to the extent where you cannot read the holy book in its totality at any point
How to know if it's a cult (works for any organization): •heirarchy among individual persons (not by rank, but by PERSON); •its own phraseology, not understood by outsiders (in this case, terms like "going clear", "Having", etc.); •encouraging trust in the group while destroying trust in one's own instincts (Scientology sounds great at this one, w/all their shameful "auditing"); •punishment for leaving but rewards for staying, each of these outsized and deliberately inflicted upon the individual; •guilt by association/orders to avoid "dangerous/threatening" [to the group!] people; •DEMAND for an inordinate (usually an Increasingly inordinate) amount of control- as well as over seemingly unrelated areas, such as work or romance- of a person's life as a cost of membership. *It's difficult because these are usually things which come on incrementally! If any of these TRUE costs/rules were advertised up-front, nobody would ever join a cult.
Sooooo, now here is a question: If Leah is a liar, attention seeker, etc. after 30+ years of being within that church, then isn't that proof that their teachings and practices are total failures?????
Thank god Katie got out before they took Suri away and put her on that boat and Leah too thank god her Angelo got away with Sophia Angelo wasn't gonna abandon his wife I know that nor would Leah's mother and sister abandon her they love each other they are real Tom Cruise is not real he is not honest with himself he knows its Bull Shit but they brainwash him so much he cannot admit it

This, even including part two, is not the full interview. The full interview is way better. Good on you Leah. x Full version is under "New 20/20 Troublemaker: Actres Leah Remini and Her 30 Year Life in Scientology"
She inquired about the absence/disappearance of David Miscavigage's wife, whom she & other previous Scientologists think is being held against her will, because she also started questioning the "church." It was as simple as that.
Scientology has some strange tenements and teachings for sure. If only ABC would do something more useful like try just as hard to learn about our current administration.
floorfight Hi Floorlight. No I am not a Scientologist but I know about many strange things in their doctrines. I also know that these things do not negate everything else or the good the movement promotes. There are many good people who are members of Scientology even if their current leaders and power hungry maniacs. Look at the current Pope who is a cold blooded marxist. It does not reflect on all the members of the Catholic church.
+BellinghamsterTrail What good does the movement promote? The Catholic church is a horrible organization as well, I'm not sure that's exactly the right path to go down. They kept hidden and tried to cover, the raping of children. Just like the church of scientology have kept hidden, and still hides, the many mistreatments of mentally ill people wihtin the organizations, many of which have died.
I know they physically hold people that join the sea org for one thing and don't let them leave . She questioned where Shelly was at the wedding and they told her she was unauthorized to question that and that's when she started noticing things.
I am glad she got away from the Church of Scientology. The organization itself sounds very manipulative and damaging. However, regarding Xenu, et al, I would have to say that would be one hell of a sweet Sci-Fi knowledge. I guess that is one of the "perks" of your religion being started by a science fiction author.
Please be aware of all the fronts of Scientology. In schools, healthcare, drug rehab centers, doctors, dentists, veterinarians- WISE. I ended up in their hands in Clearwater. I had to run away for safety. What Leah says is very true. I was only someone who uncovered darkness and they didn’t like it. Justice for Lisa McPherson.
How can anyone follow a "religion" that's been founded by a science fiction writer and it litteraly sounds like something out of one of the Star Trek movies?? It sounds like a lot of these actors that are a part of scientology, have taken their imagination and ability to morph into these fictional characters, from fictional lands on screen and it's actually affected their ability to tell the difference between reality and fantasy in real life. It's bat 💩 crazy!
It is difficult to see the ridiculous belief system of a church community specially when you grew up in it. I didn't go to a Scientology church, but I used to go to a church that basically took away people's time from their family and even brainwashed the people into devoting their money into building a church that never gotten built. All went into the pastors' pockets. It was difficult, but I had to leave on my own. My mom is still there, and it's tough, because it's like they have their own little world that my opinions and reasons aren't valid. I only hope that more peoples' eyes would be opened up soon.
They aren't allowed to watch anything negative about their church. They are mandated to turn away, close their eyes, block their ears if anything should even imply a negative critique of their church. They say it's their choice to walk away, etc. That's very true. What's implicit is the mandate. They CHOOSE to accept the mandate and walk away. They fail to mention the mandate and just mention their choice. Slippery.
If Scientology didn't have anything They wouldn't keep writing letters. It just looks Strange to me. If someone says something bad about other church's NO LETTERS NO BULLYING.NO STALKING. Just WEIRD.

It's funny, not defending scientology but if ANY of the major religions started today instead of thousands of years ago, ppl would think it's crazy too.
They all are. Religions are fucking crazy and are causing so much harm to humanity
well that says a lot about religions right? and i don't know another church that uses slave work force like sea org members
or makes people disconnect from their family
Yeah I kinda chuckle when people post "this is nuts" well, so is every other religion if you step back and look at it
@@rghmf Its easy to forget there are many religious inquisitions in the past that killed thousands of people and destroyed families for not believing in what others wanted.
Dear higher self, I owe you another apology.. This has been difficult for me.
Tax the cult.
Not just that but what if the internet becomes more useful than their printing? Tom going to support them?
Here because of red table talk
I don’t understand why they call that club a church?
Sooooo a popular cult that happens to include celebrities....got it! 🙄
Thank god Katie got out before they took Suri away and put her on that boat and Leah too thank god her Angelo got away with Sophia Angelo wasn't gonna abandon his wife I know that nor would Leah's mother and sister abandon her they love each other they are real Tom Cruise is not real he is not honest with himself he knows its Bull Shit but they brainwash him so much he cannot admit it
I am fascinated by how it’s possible to get people to believe…
I remember walking down the stairs of the Elks lodge in Long Beach and the so called Elders stretching out his hands praying over 10,000 dollars in cold " God please purify this money" that's how brain washed I was, starting at 17 left at 25, they knew my heart was into God, dam I wish my eyes were opened.
Mauricio Lozano long beach California?
She’s such a strong woman bro wow
Can we just bask in her elegance and beauty? Plus her husband is just as gorgeous!
Love you Leah 👩❤️👨🐕🐕
This, even including part two, is not the full interview. The full interview is way better. Good on you Leah. x
Full version is under "New 20/20 Troublemaker: Actres Leah Remini and Her 30 Year Life in Scientology"
I noticed it was never said "how" she allegedly wrecked the wedding. So, WTF did she do?
She inquired about the absence/disappearance of David Miscavigage's wife, whom she & other previous Scientologists think is being held against her will, because she also started questioning the "church." It was as simple as that.
This Scientology thing and Xenu sounds pretty believable quick somebody pass me one of those billion year contracts before I change my mind lol
Good for her.
How can a "church" behave like Scientology does?
Scientology has some strange tenements and teachings for sure. If only ABC would do something more useful like try just as hard to learn about our current administration.
+BellinghamsterTrail are u a scientologist
+BellinghamsterTrail Mr. Tom Cruise I love your movies. :D
floorfight Hi Floorlight.
+Taose HunHan Hahahahahaha! Best comment!
Any organization that tries to break up families/friends should be avoided.
I don't understand any of this. Like what they do why she left what happened at the wedding this was so confusing and vague
I know they physically hold people that join the sea org for one thing and don't let them leave . She questioned where Shelly was at the wedding and they told her she was unauthorized to question that and that's when she started noticing things.
The theology sounds like a star wars cult
I am glad she got away from the Church of Scientology. The organization itself sounds very manipulative and damaging. However, regarding Xenu, et al, I would have to say that would be one hell of a sweet Sci-Fi knowledge. I guess that is one of the "perks" of your religion being started by a science fiction author.
Well Tom Cruise disconnected from his own child! What man does this?
Funny a commercial on scientology before the interview
I saw too! Yeah they need a janitors like Leah did..
This is basically the most serious game pley ever.
But what happened to her contract? How do I know she isn't still with them, sent public to distract us from their true motives?
She woke up that's the Great part of this story and the word is out that they pay nothing to children that is a great Evil.
How are you doing now? Did your mom open up her eyes by now?
And hope to not have to answer for them one day on judgement day but its ok. Gods given us all free wills too
This is not a religion it's a cult.
So Tom Cruise doesn’t see his daughter??
They aren't allowed to watch anything negative about their church. They
are mandated to turn away, close their eyes, block their ears if
anything should even imply a negative critique of their church. They say
it's their choice to walk away, etc. That's very true. What's implicit
is the mandate. They CHOOSE to accept the mandate and walk away. They
fail to mention the mandate and just mention their choice. Slippery.
Come to JESUS Leah!!! You won’t regret it!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
She just saved her kids from a cult.
You can’t change people who have been engrained to believe this way. Imagine not believing anymore on something that is part of your soul.
Hmmm, maybe I should starts a religion based on wizardry and my office would be called Hogwarts.
If Scientology didn't have anything They wouldn't keep writing letters. It just looks Strange to me. If someone says something bad about other church's NO LETTERS NO BULLYING.NO STALKING. Just WEIRD.
the fact this is happening in America in the 21st century is mind blowing
Very good Leah remini woohoo to you in my opinion Leah you have cojones!!! Tom cruise feels big and important and needs to be a Scientology and you don't Leah go CREATO AND HIS SON!!!
So fascinated by Scientology. These cults are happening in real life not just what we see in Crime investigation shows like SVu about cults. Just a recent episode of svu was season 20 episode 5 Accredo
its so true if u say all that about someone who's been n the Church 4 30 yrs wut does that say about Scientology teaching! but its proven wen Katie left she didn't want her daughter n dat BS! but Leah shuld have known speaking against Tom wuld b an issue..
OMG what religion calls people pathetic and follows them at their jobs?
SHE'S SO FUCKING BRAVE. SO PROUD OF HER. I HAVEN'T WATCHED A TOM CRUISE MOVIE SINCE HIS CRAZY ASS STINT ON OPRAH. I'M NOT SUPPORTING THAT BIG WHACK JOB.
The fact that they lie about their own policy 🚩🚩
I’ve never seen the Catholic, Jewish or Muslim religion try to convert someone for clout, seems more like a social club then a religion
These people need Jesus
Nah. Christianity is just as bad as scientology.
Jesus is just a more popular version of Xenu.
Not signed In and you are just another antisemitic idiot who believes in fairy tales...pathetic
Alisa Durman Yes it is. Christianity or scientology are both just scams in order to control people. No major differences at all.
They don't need to be in another cult.
Why do they use a cross? You don’t even believe in GOD?? I’m soooooooo over this cult
God bless
LMAOOO when i read that i thought this is some crazy *beeeeeeeeeeep*
So that cult says her claims are untrue when NUMEROUS people have come out with the same stories as Leah, some cases worse than others.
Yeah it sound like a CULT for sure
Someone please explain to me what Scientology is and why people would want to be a part of it, kinda failing to get that TBH
I wish Leah Remini acted in more films!
Same!! I love her💕
Leah is a brave hero. She’s doing Gods work, f**k Xenu.
Why is a church so adamant to save face? It’s like if she’s lying, let her say whatever.
I apologise. She was brainwashed. Not her fault.
Leah is beautiful 🔥🔥🔥
Boy, 'Leah' looks good in a pair of jeans!
lol what is this weird title "she doesn't regret it" - and ending it there. Seriously some scientology kool-aid. She obviously DOES regret it, and speaking against it. But sometimes the WORST things in life, we learn from... Same with me in regards to other terrible choices.
#SuccessIsTheBestRevenge...
Not unusual to have CONFIDENTIAL PRACTICES? BULL! THAT would make it a CULT!
"So what am I doing ,I'm walking away from my mother?"... ilh!
Catherine Ferreira ????
Scientology a textbook, classic cult. Fascinating stuff though. Morbidly fascinating.
To choose to believe or not
The b-roll of the woman searching the internet (at 4:56) was the only part of this story I cared about. I wonder what her story is...
I think Scientology may work if you see it as therapy, if you pay, they teach you
This "Church" hoards money. Money they get despicably. They use all of it for lawyers
30 years??? I don't understand why she would stay there for 30 years
+LadyHashZ Because once something (a relationship, a cult, and most importantly FEAR!!!!) has a grip on you, it's not as easy to leave as one may think!
+LadyHashZ When you are raised to think a certain way all your life, I imagine it is extremely difficult and takes a lot of soul searching and strength to change a mindset developed from early childhood into 30 yrs.
people say how can these people believe all these lies well my friends one word its called DOGMA
This whole thing is so childish! Write reports on each other! A recipe for disaster!
