Oblum Review: Beautiful Brogue Monkstrap and Another Value Leader

There are just so many impressive new brands out there lately and this one is no exception. Oblum Shoemaker out of India is doing some seriously impressive work. Hand lasted, hand welted and hand dyed patina for $240! Definitely a brand worth exploring and I have a feeling they will only improve over time!

Excellent presentation, as usual. Thank you. The shoes look gorgeous and their price is incredible (almost too good to be true); however, it will take some months of wear and tear to find out how good they really are. Regards.

Thanks! I have had them for a few months at this point and the fit is quite good. The only issue is what I expected from the beginning. They got a heavier than average crease in the toe where the edge of the reinforcement was clearly visible. I think a minor adjustment to their last would solve it. That is a very minor gripe and completely reasonable considering all the other excellent details for a great price.

240 is a great price And I agree that the sole work is phenomenal. Something you find on much costlier shoes

@@mtbokor1969 Wow, not sure if pricing increased?? My fit is quite good true to size. Still fair $ with shipping but thats starting to leave the value pricing and getting into mid tier.
