"It cost over $100,000 to build. Which is Unfortunate"
Quote of the day for sure
I can't see how it did cost 100K $ to build this truck, like from every angle I a look at it, but 3500$ sound more like it.
Smita you have never paid employees, a shop bill, the tax man ,or all the the insurance bills. All have to get paid and at the end of the day you get what’s left over. If only you would have spent $35K on some education you could have learned some basic economics as your too dumb to do it on your own.
As soon as I walked past this thing in the parking lot, I knew Doug was buying it.
Ed, next time you need a co-pilot, please contact me...I’m available... (I’m a 2nd generation car dealers son “car guy” who’s never bought or owned a new car..., stage 3 cancer surviver and new father of twin girls... Please help make these tears go away and say yes!
In return for picking me, I’ll share car stories and wear a vin-wiki shirt. :-) P.S. Thank you for creating Vin-wiki... Wait! This isn’t a contest?? Lol, Co-piloting around with Ed should be a game show...
“No, Doug”
...
“She clearly hadn’t figured out how to have a good car story, and we weren’t married yet, so I said yes”
OMG I lost it lmao 😂
Ben Zimmerman Doesn’t this guy buy and sell cars for a living? Why is he consulting her about a $3500 vehicle purchase? I’m pretty certain he wouldn’t ask her about buying other inventory.

when is cindy bringing pizza and telling stories at vinwiki
I have friends in Jackson. I want this ladies info, so I can try the cinnamon rolls. How does one get in touch with someone from vinwiki?
If you don't live close to Jackson you can make your own from my tutorial on instructables. Just look for spudnut cinnamon rolls. The name I use on there is ydnic that Cindy backwards
We must track down the matching boat.
@@alexduke5402 I know my post is 2 years old but I look at boats in FL quite a bit and have not come across it. That is as much as I can do.
I live in Mississippi near Jackson... and I'VE SEEN THIS MONSTROSITY! Never laughed so hard! And you... you bought it hahaha :-D
I come to Jackson for doctors appointments and would like some cinnamon rolls, that was the Pearl McDonald's wasn't it?
This is cindy, my husband works at the McDonald's at the highway 18 exit. I live off lockney road and Brandon. You can reach me on Facebook Clyde Roundtree. I have some cinnamon roll dough in the fridge right now
This dude has the world's most extensive collection of cringy Walmart tees

OH NO YOU DIDNT. You tease this woman's baking ability but no contact information other than "Jackson, MS, hurr, hurrr, hurrr!" I'm only three hours away, have next weekend off, and want a pizza. So spill the 411

2. U try to sell any car
3. U say yes to anything

The truly amazing part of this story is that a 20 year old expedition made the trip from Jackson Mississippi to Phoenix.
Chump Johnson I think he lives in Ohio. Where they took the cheap flight to Phoenix
True, although knock on wood, I haven't had any major issues, I just keep changing the oil and driving it. It's a 4.6 though, so no cam phaser or 5.4 issues to worry about.
Chump Johnson Negative champ, we have a beater expedition that we’ve been using for years has over 250k miles with only oil changes and it runs like a champ. I know other people that have had great experiences with those SUVs too.
Goodbye Boat Truck. The people of Brandon, Mississippi will always remember you.
That thing is so late 90's cool!! If he decides not to restore it I'd love to bring it home to piss my wife off 😂😂
Cinnamon rolls and pizza would of had me buying the car.
@@panzerveps Thank jesus for your spell check! I would have never known what he was really trying to say. Harvard graduate I take it? You're an inspiration to all of TH-cam 😂🤣
That truck is low key kinda cool.
It is and I live near jackson but I never saw it... i feel like i have missed out
@@simonbusby7817 I lived and worked all over Jackson, but never saw it either. I'm, uh, rather familiar with that particular McD's too.
There are some pretty amazing details in it for sure. Does it have a back window though lol. Also, I'm surprised at how well that interior has held up.
We live in Brandon so that's probably why you never saw it but to outsiders Brandon and Jackson at the same place, haha

Hi Ms. Cindy!! I've been trying to get in contact with you. I was just thinking about your pizzas the other day! Lol. Do you have a Facebook?
"yeah, yeah, yeah, you wanna meet Clyde", couldn't possibly be a precursor to something good in a just world.
Clyde still works at the same McDonald's at the Brandon exit 18 in mississippi. This is his wife Cindy
In Jamaica around the early 90's there was a Syclone custom painted with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mural on the hood. And the bed was nothing but speaker boxes on either side.
That is the 2nd most 90's truck ever made, after this one.
Omg it’s on Doug demuro’s cars and bids site rn
I wonder who won the boat car. I really wanted it but don’t have the cash for it
So now we all need Cindy’s contact info cause we all want these cinnamon rolls!

Now I've given away the secret, mashed potatoes in the mix. My name on instructables is ydnic, that Cindy backwards
No way. I’ve seen that truck before. I stopped in that McDonald’s for breakfast one day going on vacation. It couldn’t have been much before you bought it.
Doug’s the type of guy to buy a custom SEMA truck at a Wack Arnold’s.
Whoops wrong Doug
"I mean the story kinda begins and ends with a one way trip to Phoenix"
That whole 20 seconds was brilliantly delivered 😂
You're absolutely right about the ways someone gets good car stories. I can attest to that being that I have my share of stories from all the times that I said, "YES" to just about everything.
I'm drinking McDonald's coffee right now lol I'm glad he didn't waist the dude's time & really bought the truck
I have been waiting for this story since Doug mentioned about a month ago when riding in Ed's Murci.
I have a better jackson missippi storey.wen i was 18 back in 1984 .i blew engine in 68 ford pickup.saw a car coming flagged them down.the guy said he was headed to south side of Birmingham. I got in 76 malibu with the guy.we ran 120 all way to Birmingham where he got me a ride with a trucker.he dropped me off at my house in macon ga. i found out later he was serial bank robber the car was stolen and he had been in shootout with texas state troopers.they caught him later in miami.woke up one morning with fbi beating on door he had told them about picking me up they tracked me down by the truck i left.they kept talking about what a dangerous guy he was and i told them he couldn't have been any nicer.
"She clearly hadn't figured out the way how to have a good car story" LOL
As a Sport Trac driver and enthusiast, I was tickled when Doug acknowledged their existence. Sweet "truck" indeed.
That’s an awesome story! One of my favorites so far. Thanks for sharing.
Last time I was this early, ElZed was still welcome down under.
I know this video is a year old but I was born and raised in Jackson Mississippi for 19 years, currently living in Vegas. I had seen that truck for years! I'm amazed that I found this channel 3 weeks ago and to have watched this old video and could actually have seen it irl beforehand amazing
Holy shit you guys were here?!!! Ya'll were at the McDonald's in Brandon across from the Ford dealership where I bought my Mustang. That's so awesome you guys were here. If you're ever in my neck of the woods again look me up. VinWiki has a huge fanbase here and a fair amount of exotics if you can believe it. Lol

I have sold a lot of cars on Craigslist and I can confirm.
I absolutely love this story. These people make life great
I’ve been waiting for this one. Did not disappoint.
Custom truck AND awesome Cinnamon rolls?
This could be the BEST Non Rabbit story ever!
It's always fun to meet random people. One time we were driving to Phoenix, maybe 12 or 15 years ago & we stopped at that place in the Petrified Forest that had the old school bus with the mannequins, the dinosaurs and other random stuff. We were looking at the fossils inside and got to talking with the owner. Well the real fun started when she asked "you wanna help me feed the ostriches"? Well, you gotta say yes to that. lol
We got to talking & boy could that woman talk. In about 2 1/2 hours we got the condensed version of her life story, we learned the in's & out's of raising ostriches, we ran around/from a few and we learned what life was like owning a roadside attraction. She said her & her hubby, we got to meet him too, he built all the dinosaurs, were ready to retire but the state was buying up all the roadside places and they were holding out for more money from either the state or a private buyer so they could retire in style in Phoenix. lol
I truly hope their plan worked out.
I just found the place on Google earth. (I 40 exit 301) The ostriches are gone. Looks like someone is still running the fossil shop.
Anyways, things like that are part of the adventure we call life. You just never know who will have a fun, interesting story.
My dad use to rebuild wrecked cars. When I was fifteen he built me a custom bronco 2 cut off the top at the bottom of the post and welded in a ranger top and back panel, welded in a metal bed cover used mustang bucket seats and put on a one of a kind custom paint job. We took it to the Ford dealership to show one of his friends and then 2 years later the sporttrac was born. Your welcome to anyone who enjoys those because I'm sure they stole our idea on that.
James F nobody steals ideas at a deal stealership lol just your money. Cool truck tho!
Finally !!! Been waiting for this story
I am from the Jackson MS area and as soon as you said the starbucks was in the airport I knew exactly what starbucks you were talking about. I have made the same mistake with the same starbucks!!

The last time I was in Jackson,MS it was in the 80's because my parents bought the FM rock station there; WQAZ? A week before, a tornado had blown down our tower and we were piggybacking off another station.
Don't think my parents made a dime off it; I think it was a tax-shelter, but I was like, 10?
Find the boat. I'm sure it's a cigarette with twin 350's, and twin V8's sound AWESOME on the water when they sync RPM's.
I live about 20 minutes out from Jackson and I’ve seen this Ford a couple of times over the years I knew it was special but never thought I’d see a vinwiki video on it also there is a Starbucks at dogwood mall in the metro area just for future reference
This is now my favorite VinWiki video

My terrible car story: I had a deal to sell my Toyota Solara at 3pm today. This morning on the way to get it washed for the future new owner, the check engine light came on. Now I have to spend $600 for a new Catalytic Converter which is effectively going to raise that value of the car $0. I was 5 hours away from getting that ish sold!
I would proudly daily drive it, that's an incredible bang for the buck at $3500
How did I guess that it was a Doug story? Well anything associated with radwood you know Doug is in it. And Love to videos Ed and love these stories especially with Casey, Eric, Rabbit, You and all the regulars keep it up. And I dream of being like you in a way someday 👍.
I would love to see a video on that seascape, with all the cool features

I just saw the title before I clicked on the video and I knew it would be Doug telling the story today
Dang I’m going to Jackson tomorrow, guess I won’t see it. There are some interesting old vehicles out there though.
Great story Doug
There's another one for sale , a '98 example that is in way better condition except for a big ding in the tailgate on the 2040 car sale site . It's in San Diego i think , no price on the listing though ...

A very 1990's mix of cringing and cool story. Its rather sad old people in the US have to work making pizza to make a living when they should be be enjoying retirement and cruising on their Seascape. On the plus side I now know what a cinnamon roll is and I'm trying it this weekend. Thanks Cindy!
It's a pretty nice truck. Definitely a conversation piece.
Hey Doug this is Cindy and Clyde. One of my sons friends from high school saw the video and told him about it. I'm just seeing it today. It's awesome, how's the truck coming along? I hope you decided to restore that truck I'd like to see it done. Keep up the good work you're great!!!
