I will tell u something you have got to love Derek he just says how it is and no back doors and you have to love him for that what a honest genuine guy keep what u are doing Derek and of course dave and Paul and all the family and staff amazing
I watch these guys every day. Much better auction experience than others like Anglia. The Mathewsons have passion that is genuine and that's why people trust them. Thanks all...
Seeing that F86 brought back some good memories. Remember in the 70's. When I was young and handsome? lol. 2 F89's came in to be painted. Both LHD obviously. Both had a big air con box/unit on the roof and Both off to the Middle East. Funny thing then was both turned up on a transporter because 5th wheels hadn't been fitted yet and both were in a sand colour under coat.
Isusu pick up...the kb ! Wow....we built the midi and rascal at IBC vehicles in Luton ( Isusu Bedford Commercial) back in the 80's....bet you don't get many of them?
Oh my word, the phrase " a kid in a sweetie shop " springs to mind, what about setting up a car museum I'm sure it would be popular for the nostalgia factor alone. 😊
Unrelated question to this episode - around February, this year, got home late to see the tail-end of an episode in.which Derek had a walk around John Mould's vehicle collection, some of which were going to go under the hammer. One of the cars being discussed for potential sale was a white Studebaker Hawk. I've tried searching for this and a subsequent episode (assuming it went for auction), but I haven't had any luck finding it. Would anyone have any suggestions....? Thank
Nice one guys... did I hear Derek say that you had the Quest Garage in Houghton Conquest? On the road between Kempston and Ampthill. I used to sell advertising for the Bedford Journal back in the 80's... thanks all love the content!
The allegro would have been far more successful if it was a hatchback I had a 1750 Sport it actually drove very well until the gearbox disintegrated and contaminated the shared engine oil and subsequently destroyed the engine, I then Bought Ford Cortina Mk3 2.0GT 😊.
??? cost of mk2 1.3 now I had 2 mk2 in 1980,s one a night rally car 1.3 and 2nd 2.0 4 lamps droop snoop . I see mk2 shells new now from china I guess for £ 5000
"Honest, straight car, go find another" should be on a T-shirt. Typical car dealer speak. Derek is correct , back in the day we all wanted to be American, not anymore. Lol.

No heater controllers anywhere for an MGB. Those and the indicator dash lenses are the only parts you cannot get today.
Loved a Bedford rascal.
Cheap as chips.
Got my car in October with you guys! Hope it does well
The Rover P5 is a stunner, what a beautiful car. Your videos are great to watch I enjoy them 😊
I know someone who has a MGB Roadster who has had it 40 years plus!

The Ford Cargo is up there with the Transit.
A money making machine.
Interesting that there was no mention of anything pre war? A sign of the times I guess… Certainly a fascinating walk around, thanks fellas.

Great, if only I had the space / money / time I’d be up after one of those XJ6’s !
Funny thing is, now everything has a square steering wheel from fast Audis to SUVs
My wife has a 2023 ford puma, square steering wheel.
Allegro all agro. I had one.
These guys would be able to speel a good story on used chewing gun.
The Corrado was to expensive which lost a lot of sales.
