Nairobi! It’s one of the most competitive cities in the world. In Africa, Nairobi is a top destination for expatriates looking to work from the region.
But in a city with more informal opportunities than formal employment, it’s no wonder that it has the highest number of unemployed people.
This is the reason why unemployment conversations are centered around Nairobi county. But unemployment is a growing crisis across Kenya. It’s no wonder that Viona Kurui from Kabarnet struggled to secure a job despite pursuing a competitive degree from Baraton University.
