I had the genius idea to cut a load of criss cross slots deep in a 50p yellow sponge to see if it would work. Not impressed with the first attempt😂 I shall try again though. Maybe you could? Gotta be worth a punt from like Dollar Tree!
@@pigeonpoo1823 lol, I did that 10years ago when Rinseless was first coming on the scenes and the first sponges came out. I thought I was so smart but it’s not the same material.
No disrespect intended by this , but using 1 wash media no matter how soft isn't the way to keep paint defect free. Its best to fill a bucket with 30 MF towels (no edges) use all 8 folded sides once, drop it in an empty bucket to be washed . Typically takes 2 towels per panel. You also get the most out of whatever product you're using by letting the towels soak in the bucket of Distilled water overnight. There isnt really another way to keep paint defect free Especially if its black ..
@@dtcdtc8328 well, my favorite way is multiple towels. But we have many viewers who do it all kinds of ways. 30 towels is excessive but ur way is my preferred.
@@DetailingBreakdown At a buck 50 or so each , having 30 in the bucket that stay there, they soak up the wash product, and will do the next wash... or your second car if you have two... its ashame how the detial industry is so misleading ( I'm 55 and have been flown around the Country to do paint corrections and teach the individuals I do them for how to not need another correction for years) .... so, just saying bro, show them the right way so they don't go through what you and I did to get where we are now... As one example, person pays $1500 for paint correction and bc they weren't shown how to properly wash , within less than a month their pride and joy is a swirled up mess again. IDK about you but seeing that sorta stuff makes me mad....
@@dtcdtc8328 I understand about the 30 of u have multiple cars. Yes, absolutely then. Every time I drive in public or walk in a parking lot and see a car full of rotary swirls I feel so bad for those people. They were taken for a ride by a hack detailer. I’ve also always showed clients after car for their polished vehicles that leave my place. I even made them care kits for free.
Don’t know if its one i will try as have better RW in the Garage H2No is amazing to use 🇬🇧

just spend the $16 on an Ultra Safe Sponge from The Rag Company and save your paint. They last forever.
@@jeffc6832 good choice
The sponge was still dirty better products out there
@@charlesbrasington7599 I think so as well.
So by my calculations it’s only a 128/1 dilation ratio , against the normal 256/1 !🇬🇧
That’s what they say. I feel most these companies are shorting themselves. U have to push the products past their stated dilutions.
