La voce di Aragall è celeste. Per me la più bella voce di tenore degli ultimi 50 anni.
Aragall 's tone is simply wonderful. I could listen to him 24 hours a day.
No me animo a decir que es el mejor, porque cada uno tiene sus matices, sus fortalezas y sus puntos no tan fuertes, pero, para mí, es uno de los grandes, sin duda

The most beautiful interpretation of this aria, he doesn't shout as many of his contempories but sings the true interpretation that Puccini intented.

le vi y oi cantar esa Favorita en el Liceo el con 27 años y yo con 22. Fue mi descubrimiento de Aragall una voz preciosa de canto y agudos faciles, voz lumisosa y hombre sencillo , natural ,iniciando una carrera internacional prometedora , como lo fue, con su debut en la Scala tan pronto.Nunca olvidare aquel dia, y tampoco sus Bohemes con Virginia Zeani aquellos mismos años. Todos los grandes tenores de su epoca, reconocieron en publico que lavoz de Aragall fue la mas bonita de su generacion Gracias Jaime

llevo muchos años en este mundo de la opera y siempre he dicho que la voz de Aragall es ,quizás, la mas bella voz lirica que he oído. La pena era ....esa tesitura tan corta.Sufria en los agudos ,mas que Carreras y tampoco fue un prodigio de técnica, Gran persona y bellísima voz
Sólo había oído a Pavarotti cantar con una voz tan clara y cristalina. Bellísima la voz de Aragall.
Bravo.Extraordinario.Una voz del cielo.

Giacomo Aragall é, sem dúvidas, uma das últimas grandes impostações vocais entre os tenores. É Paradigma para os alunos de canto, pela grande técnica vocal. Lamentavelmente, as escolas de canto não produzem bons tenores hoje em dia.

I heard Aragall a number of times at the Met. What a stupendous tenor! Not Corelli but on that level, at least, I thought so.
Aragall was a lyric tenor with a different repertoire than the spinto dramatic Corelli, singing Rigoletto, Traviata, Butterfly, Boheme and Lucia. Corelli never sang Rigoletto, Traviata and Butterfly. They both sang Boheme and Lucia, but Corelli did not get good critical reviews in Lucia. Apples and oranges

Much better than MdM in the same aria. It may not be fair to say he was better than Pavarotti, but he sure doesn't deserve to be forgotten
,Fanciulla was a signature role for the dramatic Del Monaco. The lyric Aragall never sang the entire opera live. I think it's fair to say that the 2 voices were extreme opposites with different repertoires.
La naturalezza era l’ineguagliabile pregio di Aragall … non un grandissima voce, ma quando cantava era un uomo vero, con vere e,ozio i e senza l’ombra di alcun artificio
