It's cool that even though this track didn't get remade in the Booster Course Pass or in Tour (as far as I know), Nintendo hasn't forgotten about it. It gives me hope that the next game might be a "Mario Kart Ultimate" where we actually have all the tracks from across the series including this, Luigi's Mansion, and Airship Fortress.

In terms of Bowser's Castle themes, Mario Kart Wii has one of the weakest in the entire series, and the only thing stopping it from getting last is the existence of N64 Bowser's Castle's theme. This version does improve it; however, it still falls flat compared to the likes Super Circuit, Double Dash, 7, and 8.
