Hello, First thing I want to say, your art work is really amazing. I want to ask 2 things 1. instead of gesso can we use white acrylic color for base coating. Also what is the difference between the gesso and white acrylic. 2. after applying the base coat and after it drys, when i apply color my base coat tend to mix and also when i apply varnish.. my colors tend to bleed why this happens?

1.Gesso is a thick paint specially for the base coat , acrylic is a thin paint. If you use acrylic colour you must have to use 3-4 coats . You can use both as a base paint .
2. If you are using white acrylic as a base , then you have to use colours atleast after 14 hrs . Then it will definitely not mix/blend .
3. Use good quality varnish after 4-5 days . Varnish is different for different paintings . For acrylic paints use acrylic varnish , for oil Colours , use little bridie oil varnish or camel oil varnish .
(Use after 4-5 days on acrylic paints please)
