Thank you for all the nice tutorials. I especially love rings and bracelets. You do a really great job at explaining what you are doing and that makes it really easy to follow along with you. I have made several of your pieces so far and am looking forward to trying others. I have seen other turtorials but find yours to be the clearist to follow. Thank you so very much for putting so much effort into the turtorials and sharing them with us.

I am seriously allergic to most metals and just got engaged and he was worried about me having a ring, I had him watch this video with me and he is going to use it to make my ring. I can hardly wait. We wanted to thank you so much for making this video and sharing your wonderful gift of making amazingly beautiful jewelry.

I have trouble with cheap medals to. I try to look for medals I can wear. Then 14 carrot gold is too expensive.

This is a really pretty ring plus your video & instructional techniques are fantastic. The close-up shots are soooo clear (must be a good camera too.:) I'd also like to say that your way of demonstrating each step makes it super easy to follow. Love the way you colored the tips of your line red & black! You're a very good teacher. Thank you for sharing.

What a pretty ring! Made it using 4mm bicones, 4mm pearls, 11/0 and 8/0 seed beads instead of the 6/0 - it works really well! Off to make another, thanks Aleisha for another great tutorial.

Hi Aleshia, I am very new to beading and I'm self teaching by watching and learning from your tutorials. I just love how you are very detailed when instructing. I only have a few beads from Wal-Mart. I'm still learning what the different types of beads/thread/wire. ahhhh!! But when I found one of your video (Bumblebee). I had so much relief.. Excitement and ready to bead! I did not complete the bee.. when you explained we could use the body and change the colors!!! I immediately got an Idea! My Daughter loves the Ninja turtles so I made a necklace with 4 beaded balls with green and each with a different color of the Ninja turtles!! She was beyond ecstatic when she got to wear it to school today! Thank you for sharing your talented skills

It is sharpie marker on the ends of my monofilament string. You can tie half hitch knots but if the jewelry is just simple strands it might be best to use nylon coat stainless steel wire for them or fireline.

  • @beadifulnights

What I mean is when you start knotting you have to follow thread paths you have all ready made. If you don't follow existing thread paths you ring will pull in weird directs and it won't look pretty.

Hi, Just wanted to say I enjoy your video's very much and have made several of you designs. By the way, I have made several of these rings, very easy and very pretty, And I have used 6mm bicones and 6mm round crystals or pearls, so it does work with 6mm bicones. Thank you for this tutorial. Happy beading, Evelyn

Thanks! When I paint my nails I just try my best to paint them with out getting it on my skin. When I do get polish on my skin I just leave it till my nails are dry. It will come off when I wash my hands and also when I moisturize with lotion.

Just the threads. I color them in two different color sharpie markers so it is easier to see which string is going in which bead. The 10lb. and 8lb. test fishing line is stiff enough at the ends to be used as needles.

I have necklaces from my Mother's jewlery collection that need to be repaired. I noticed that the ends of the fishing line are dark. Is that paint or have you threaded the line through a needle?
How do I knot the fishing line? Is there a good beading book?
I love youtube! I have learned so..... much from it! Thank you for your post.

Fishing line is stiff witch makes this ring have a nice dome shape. I haven't really tried other stringing materials because of the good results I got from monofilament fishing line.

If you use 4mm bicones for the top and bottom it will look like the other ring I showed in the video. If you replace the 5mm beads with 4mm beads and also use 6mm with 4mm it might make your ring a little flatter. You can use 3mm round in place of the 6 aught seed beads.

HI! I love your videos. I'm really not into plastic beads. I love more the crystals and czech glass and gemstones. I wish you made more of that. I LOVE this video though because you used gemstones in this one. this all seems so complicated. For someone just starting out I'm thinking I should probably start with something simpler. I was wondering do you have an etsy store or a website where you sell your jewelry. (gemstone - Higher end)?? You do beautiful work!!!

Beading wire like tiger tail which is nylon coated stainless steel wire won't work for rings like this it isn't knot-able like monofilament is. I buy my monofilament fishing line at Walmart and Kmart it is super cheap the name brand doesn't matter. I got a 700yd. spool for $3.00. I use both 8lb. test dia. .012 and 10lb. test dia. .011
