I am seriously allergic to most metals and just got engaged and he was worried about me having a ring, I had him watch this video with me and he is going to use it to make my ring. I can hardly wait. We wanted to thank you so much for making this video and sharing your wonderful gift of making amazingly beautiful jewelry.
Thank you for all the nice tutorials. I especially love rings and bracelets. You do a really great job at explaining what you are doing and that makes it really easy to follow along with you. I have made several of your pieces so far and am looking forward to trying others. I have seen other turtorials but find yours to be the clearist to follow. Thank you so very much for putting so much effort into the turtorials and sharing them with us.
This is a really pretty ring plus your video & instructional techniques are fantastic. The close-up shots are soooo clear (must be a good camera too.:) I'd also like to say that your way of demonstrating each step makes it super easy to follow. Love the way you colored the tips of your line red & black! You're a very good teacher. Thank you for sharing.
What a pretty ring! Made it using 4mm bicones, 4mm pearls, 11/0 and 8/0 seed beads instead of the 6/0 - it works really well! Off to make another, thanks Aleisha for another great tutorial.
Love this video! I find the videos shot over your shoulder easier to follow. Made my first ring last weekend and am anxiously awaiting delivery of my 11/0's and 6/0's. Thank you for takign the time to do this.
Hi Aleshia, I am very new to beading and I'm self teaching by watching and learning from your tutorials. I just love how you are very detailed when instructing. I only have a few beads from Wal-Mart. I'm still learning what the different types of beads/thread/wire. ahhhh!! But when I found one of your video (Bumblebee). I had so much relief.. Excitement and ready to bead! I did not complete the bee.. when you explained we could use the body and change the colors!!! I immediately got an Idea! My Daughter loves the Ninja turtles so I made a necklace with 4 beaded balls with green and each with a different color of the Ninja turtles!! She was beyond ecstatic when she got to wear it to school today! Thank you for sharing your talented skills
Great, your tutorials are helping to my business allot. I used to do always the same but found out that my collection needs something new and fresh. And here we go! Merci!!!
I love all your tutorials, they are very easy to follow, I'm pretty well a newbie but can follow quite easily. Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to share with us.
Preciosa: hice los aretes, me quedaron lindos, ya hice varios pares de diferente color, ahora hare el anillo y estoy segura que me quedara lindo. Gracias Alicia por tus tutoriales.
I just finished it and it's awesome! Yaaay! I have short, fat fingers and can't ever find rings to fit other fingers. So now I can make them! You are a genius, my friend! Keep 'em comin'! HUGS
This ring was a lt of fun and turned out beautiful.I know a lot of your beaders are advanced but sure is wonderful to have beginner or just a bit simpler ty so much.Plz do some more when you can ty so much.
Very nice tutorial! All my beading stuff is in storage but as soon as I get my stash back, I will be making a ton of these rings. Please keep making your wonderful videos, Thanks!
It is sharpie marker on the ends of my monofilament string. You can tie half hitch knots but if the jewelry is just simple strands it might be best to use nylon coat stainless steel wire for them or fireline.
Thanks! When I paint my nails I just try my best to paint them with out getting it on my skin. When I do get polish on my skin I just leave it till my nails are dry. It will come off when I wash my hands and also when I moisturize with lotion.
Alicia: Thank you so much for sharing. I love your beautiful creations. I've made two rings so far and my sister wants to make her a pair of earrings instead of the ring. I wish I could show you how they've come out. Congratulations for your great designs. Greets from México. I'm your fan!!!
Hi, Just wanted to say I enjoy your video's very much and have made several of you designs. By the way, I have made several of these rings, very easy and very pretty, And I have used 6mm bicones and 6mm round crystals or pearls, so it does work with 6mm bicones. Thank you for this tutorial. Happy beading, Evelyn
Wow I just subscribed to your channel and looked through your tutorials and your stuff is wild! In a good way. I've only been doing jewelry for a year and my stuff is so simple compared to yours but I said to myself this is talent! I'm very impressed! Nice work!
What I mean is when you start knotting you have to follow thread paths you have all ready made. If you don't follow existing thread paths you ring will pull in weird directs and it won't look pretty.
I just discovered you last night and you are the BEST!! I'm finishing my my second ring now thanks to you. You are a great teacher and have beautiful designs! Is there somewhere we can share pics of our work?
I love your videos. I have made one of your rings and everyone that sees it says make me one too plz! I have watched many other tutorial beading and you are the best! keep up the great videos! I am a subscriber!
I just made a facebook account so everyone can share pictures and ideas. I had to post the link in the info box below the video. I can't wait to see what you made.
I just found you on youtube today and I love your tutorials. Thanks also for the great tutorial on making your own beading loom, that is wonderful. I have been a beader for about 18 years and I love finding and making new things. Thanks again and I did subscribe so I don't miss out of anything you post. :) Thanks again, DeAnna in South Florida
hi, this is a very beautiful work. could you make a tutorial for vintage earrings with clip ons? I love that type of earrings but I don't know how to sew the beads to that flat coin with holes. thank you.
Hi Alicia! Thanks for such a great ring idea...and keep those obsessions coming! I love your color combinations, how do you plan them? They seem random, but they look so great together. Anyway, keep up the beautifully designed tutorials.
Hi I am new to your channel and I wanted to say I have falling in love with all your work, I can't believe I didn't find you sooner, I am a beginner and I got to say that I have learned so much from your videos I was doing everything wrong I want to say thank you thank you so much for all your tutorials you are an artist
Hi Aleshia, fantastic tutorials, love to watch your designs come to life, haven't tried any yet, but as soon as I can I will get started. Keep up the good work.
thank you for sharing....i've made 2 rings so far, one for me and one for my girlfriend, and you are right about it being easy to make ! would like to know as to where you buy your beads from...I wanted to make this ring so badly that I went to Wally World aka Walmart and picked up cheap beads ! LOL...but they still look pretty good. thanks again and keep the tuts coming!!
I have necklaces from my Mother's jewlery collection that need to be repaired. I noticed that the ends of the fishing line are dark. Is that paint or have you threaded the line through a needle? How do I knot the fishing line? Is there a good beading book? I love youtube! I have learned so..... much from it! Thank you for your post.
Love this - thanks for the easy-to-follow video and narrative. I made one with purples for a bat mitzvah gift, then another for another girlfriend purple fan. Keep it coming, Aleisha!
Hello i am enjoying your videos but would like to know if i can get these patterns in writing using other people computers so its a big problem to me would love to hear from you thank you self taught beader and enjoy the challenge
gracias por compartir tu hermoso talento hoy mismo lo hare aunque en mexico dificilmente podemos encontrar variedad de cuentas espero poder encontrar el material para hacerlo lo mejor posible dios te bendiga
I don't have a fan facebook page but I was thinking about doing that. I post my tutorials on craftster. org in the jewelry forum and others have posted pics of what they made from my tuts on there.
Dear Aleisha,I am from Lithuania (soory if I wrote your name wrong) and I think that you are very very very talented girl.I saw many beading tutorials but your's the bestest. Thank you very much,U are so cool, your arms are golden.Thank you that you share this great art with us. :) Please don't stop making amazing videos. With you everyone can make miracles...P.S.:I have an idea.:)You can open an online beading courses or somethng. P.P.S.:your manicure in all videos are so cool and pretty... :)
Fishing line is stiff witch makes this ring have a nice dome shape. I haven't really tried other stringing materials because of the good results I got from monofilament fishing line.
Thank you! I just use colors I like. Blue is my favorite color to use it goes with anything so does black and brown. If you need inspiration I found a great place for color combinations Fusionbeads website click on color ideas.
Just the threads. I color them in two different color sharpie markers so it is easier to see which string is going in which bead. The 10lb. and 8lb. test fishing line is stiff enough at the ends to be used as needles.
Hello Alisha, thank you very much for the videos. Could you please write the names of the stores that you buy those beautiful beads and ornaments/leaves. Thanks.☺
HI! I love your videos. I'm really not into plastic beads. I love more the crystals and czech glass and gemstones. I wish you made more of that. I LOVE this video though because you used gemstones in this one. this all seems so complicated. For someone just starting out I'm thinking I should probably start with something simpler. I was wondering do you have an etsy store or a website where you sell your jewelry. (gemstone - Higher end)?? You do beautiful work!!!
Oops! Hit the wrong button. I wasn't finished...lol....as I was going to say/ask is can you do a tutorial on very large rings since that is the "in" thing nowadays. I guess using 8 and/or 10mm size beads.
Beading wire like tiger tail which is nylon coated stainless steel wire won't work for rings like this it isn't knot-able like monofilament is. I buy my monofilament fishing line at Walmart and Kmart it is super cheap the name brand doesn't matter. I got a 700yd. spool for $3.00. I use both 8lb. test dia. .012 and 10lb. test dia. .011

I have trouble with cheap medals to. I try to look for medals I can wear. Then 14 carrot gold is too expensive.

I made this ring over nine years ago and it's still looking pretty

Very, very well done. You explained it all so nicely and the rings are amazing. Is this a creation of your own?
Really cute rings. When you use fishingline and you use the ring does the ring loose its form after à while?
Thank you! Yes, I think you can use them.
I have necklaces from my Mother's jewlery collection that need to be repaired. I noticed that the ends of the fishing line are dark. Is that paint or have you threaded the line through a needle?
How do I knot the fishing line? Is there a good beading book?

Fishing line is stiff witch makes this ring have a nice dome shape. I haven't really tried other stringing materials because of the good results I got from monofilament fishing line.
You are soo easy to follow. Thank you. You are the best
Thankyou. I love this ring. Can you please tell me what kind of gemstones are the green 6mm that you use in this tutorial?
Gracias por compartir con nosotras su sabiduría, acabo de hacer este anillo y me quedó fabuloso, reciba bendiciones.
Thank you! I just use colors I like. Blue is my favorite color to use it goes with anything so does black and brown. If you need inspiration I found a great place for color combinations
Fusionbeads website click on color ideas.
I use permanent markers to color them. I lay the ends of the string on paper and mark them.
Just the threads. I color them in two different color sharpie markers so it is easier to see which string is going in which bead. The 10lb. and 8lb. test fishing line is stiff enough at the ends to be used as needles.
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! I DID IT with your help! Tried to post a link to mine but it won't let me...
