As an Australian, I'm happy my country is acquiring the AS-21, being built specifically for Australia and Korea being great with technology transfers; along with the added bonus of Korea being in our region makes logistics easier. The Lynx is a great vehicle but given our complications with European equipment in recent history (namely the NH-90 and ARH Tiger) along with the fact Germany is on the other side of the world doesn't help Rheinmetal's case. As I said, I'm happy about the AS-21 selection and it seemed to be preferred by our test crews.
