The timeline gets a little wonky because in Trunks' history Goku supposedly gets sick six months before the Androids show up and the assumption was that the same would happen in this timeline. Instead the virus doesn't start to affect him until the Androids show up, so he never actually begins treatment until now.
To add to that, it was a virus he got from namek, that's why there was no cure to it in the original timeline but with years of development Bulma had managed to find a cure in the future. Also one might think "why not use the dragon balls?", to my knowledge they won't cure natural diseases or resurrect someone who has died of natural causes.

There is actually a fan theory for DBZA regarding the reason why Goku hates grapes. It is theorized that Goku is allergic to grapes but, because he lived in the middle of nowhere, he had no idea about allergies and thus, didn’t mention his allergy to anyone.
Saiyans age very weirdly. Goku looked like a 5 year old when he was 14. He went through a massive growth spurt during Dragon Ball’s one time skip and he’s looked like a 20-something ever since, even though he should be pushing 60 during the current events of Dragon Ball Super.
There’s also weird lore about Saiyan haircuts never changing from the day they’re born, which is why you’ll never see Goku and Vegeta get haircuts like Bulma, Yamcha, and Chichi. Gohan and Trunks get to age a bit more naturally and try new haircuts because they’re half-human.
He's actually 42 in Dragon Ball Super. There's a 10 year timeskip in the DBZ finale. Dragon Ball Super supposedly all takes place during that timeskip. That said, with every new DBS arc it becomes increasingly ridiculous for the multiverse-spanning events of Super to not be mentioned at the end of Z if it is supposed to have happened after them.

Not true, goku did stopped becouse the medicine still there he didn't use it all, the day where androids showed up was the same that trunks said so the time of the heart attack is different and trunks also said to him that he didn't fight the androids at all becouse he did die before so he probably just thinked that if before meeting the androids he was all right mean he already eliminated the virus and doesn't need anymore to take the medicine so he did take it but stopped a bit before to meet the androids, he should have continue to take it until he did finish it so the virus wasn't completely being killed and regrowth until the day where he got heart attack which is in fact a different day becouse goku himself did alterated the days of the heart attack by taking a bit of medicine, also there is an important thing that i can't say becouse would be an important spoiler but is crucial for goku's heart attack discussion, also is not that the virus is there only by the moment goku got the heart attack, the virus is there by times before the only thing is that goku did stopped so did let it grow again
I've always assumed the virus happened later because of how much training they were doing in preparation for the androids. Like his body was stronger than the Goku in the other timeline, so it took longer for the virus to kick in.

Trunks killing them left Goku in way better shape before he even started training, which let him get more comfortable controlling his power in super saiyan
Software Developer here. Sending a report basically gives a bunch of (hopefully) relevant information that helps the developers in trying to figure out what caused your software to crash/fail and fix it. The report itself isn't meant to resolve anything but the more reports they receive about the same problem the higher the likelihood they'll be able to hunt down the cause. Additionally, if they sudden start receiving a large number of reports for the same thing, they'll most likely prioritize that issue since it's probably affecting a lot of people.

Something just crossed my mind: You think Goku hastened his heart attack with that introspective conversation about androids? I imagine his already strained heart had to pump a lot of blood to get his brain going for that one.
Trunks told Goku to take the heart disease medication when he got sick. Issue is that Goku never got sick, so he never took it. According to Trunks, Goku was supposed to die around 6 months before the cyborgs got there.
Vegeta beating 19 is one of his best moments in the show, and what a lot of people don’t realize is that 19 was draining his energy the whole time he had him locked in that grip, and Vegeta got more drained than people think. His ego just helped power him through it
I think it's more of strategy. The Android would have still found a way to drain him of energy, it was Jeetz best chance while he was still on full power to rip off the hands
Piccolo even explained it in the actual show. After Vegeta acts unfazed by 19 in order to scare 20 into fleeing, Piccolo points out that Vegeta was almost completely drained of his energy. That if 20 had called his bluff, Vegeta wouldn't have had the strength to defend himself. Instead, Vegeta acted tough to scare off 20, giving him a chance to recuperate with a senzu bean.
After three years, Gohan is like 9. In the show, it took two Nemekian years to wish everyone back, which is one year on earth, so Gohan was 6 when Trunks defeated Frieza and King Cold. So, three years have passed, and Gohan is now 9.
True but as I recall he's right on the cusp of his birthday when the arc starts so he's closer to 10. Gohan's birthday is May 18th and the "androids" arrive on May 12th, less than a week before turning 10.

Cell Saga 11. He spent 1 year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber which age jumps him. His legal age is 10, but physically he is 11. Buu saga occurs 7 years later, but Gohan is described as 16. The reason can be described as 7 years not being 7 full years but simply a general statement.
"Before I shove my BOOT UP your ass!" "reBOOT completed" These layers, man.... The criteria for Super Saiyan was primarily the combination of having the power threshold and emotional stress. For Vegeta, in the anime, they showed him essentially in danger in an asteroid belt or something. The fear of having his own life in danger was what took him him over that threshold. I'm not sure if that's in the manga though. (Also, that criteria kinda changes way later on, probably because Toriyama forgot about it - dude was notorious for forgetting his own lore sometimes.)

There are a few explanations for what went on with Goku and his heart attack in terms of canon DBZ. The main one is that Goku's heart condition is a virus, and the medicine that future Bulma developed was a CURE for it. Meaning you take it when you start to experience *symptoms.* When everybody pokes fun at Goku not taking the medicine, that's because they're confusing it with a vaccine, which you take BEFORE you start experiencing symptoms. Goku was also supposed to contract the heart virus way earlier, dying to it before the androids even appear in the first place. In this timeline, however, Trunks' time-meddling caused Goku to develop the virus further along on the timeline, so he started experiencing the symptoms DURING the fight against the androids so they had to give him the medicine then rather than before, since the medicine won't do anything if he doesn't have the virus it's supposed to cure.

I fell like "artificial human" kinda defines an android. The first that appears back in OG DB was all mechanical as well. And since there is the term "cyborg" in Japanese, I guess Toriyama just called 17 and 18 "artificial human" as well to keep the naming consistency.

Tien did adapt some of the elements of it into his Shin Kikohou, which allows him to burn physical power to fuel it, like the Kaio-ken, instead of burning his lifeforce directly like the original version did. It can still kill you if over-used, but as long as you survive, Sensu beans can fix the damage it causes.
It's probably already been said, but Saiyans are prone to radical growth spurts, as well as sometimes going several years without much change to their height at all. So their height isn't indicative of their age the same as humans. I actually knew somebody in high school like that. Freshman year, he was one of the shortest kids in our class. Then summer came, and upon returning for sophomore year, he was suddenly the tallest in our class. With the entire first day back filled with everybody seeing him, and being like, "What the f- happened?"

Goku's actual heart problem was a virus he contracted while on the planet where he learned how to teleport. The medicine Trunks gave him was an orally-administered vaccine to the virus that Bulma spent years developing after the virus killed Goku in his timeline. Trunks told Goku to take it when the symptoms appear. Trunks' interference created a butterfly effect, such that the virus took a couple more years to progress to the point where symptoms started. By the time symptoms started to appear, I think Goku had either forgotten about or just written the virus off. Also, you were right about Super Saiyan making it worse. Transforming into a Super Saiyan involves tapping into the emotions that first triggered the transformation. That emotion is always some manner of fury or desperation, so the transformation gets the heart racing. The condition being viral means that making your heart beat faster just quickens the spread of the infection.

In the original show Goku died of a rare and then unusable disease. Trunks left the meds needed to help him survive but he needed to come down with the disease first. So he's out of things for a while.
I think the report thing is just to let the devs know that their software's tweaking along with what may have caused it. Then the devs might patch it out in the future or something I guess.
Super Saiyan criteria: Extreme levels of raw emotion beyond the normal. Vegeta was so pissed off at himself for being "weak" he transformed. Vegeta's motivation: prove that he is stronger than Goku. Therfore, Goku must live and fully recover so that Vegeta can beat him.

Vegeta becomes a Super Saiyan in the original because his training broke him to the point that he didn't care anymore, and his frustration triggered the transformation. It's always anger that triggers it and the way I interpreted is it happened because he got so angry about not caring anymore, because he does want to prove himself as the best more than anything. But in this version they put a more comical spin on it.
My favorite explanation is the one Goku gives later in the original: "It comes from a need, not a desire." It's a little vague, but also really compelling to me. And yeah there's some kind of threshold of power you have to reach before that need will actually do it.
Vegeta went to space and kept training and training trying to become super Saiyan. Something shown a little here, but much more in the original is that Vegeta always compares himself to Goku. His life goal is to surpass him and become the strongest warrior in existence. So no matter what he did in space he just couldn't do it. He knew that if he couldn't become super saiyan he could never become stronger than Goku. So he stopped caring if he lived or died. He put himself in the path of certain death figuring he would either transform or die. That is how he became a super Saiyan.
Goku is only like 5 foot 7 or 5 foot 9 max, he isnt wildly tall, most dragon ball characters are odly short aside from piccolo and a few exceptions, and those are usually weirdly tall

The error report exists so that if the fatal error was because of something in Windows or some other Microsoft program, they could look into the cause and patch the application/OS. Vegeta is just kind of short overall but yes Saiyans do not grow quite like humans, they get to like 5 year old size and then grow very very slowly until they hit puberty at which point they shoot up to their adult size really fast. And then they stay in their prime until the very end of their lifetime at which point the age super quickly. So there's not much difference between a 20 year old saiyan and a 60 year old saiyan but there'd be a huge difference between a 79 and 80 year old one.

7:37 The "Androids" technically are called cyborgs due to them being organic beings with robotic parts. Androids are like the Synths in Fallout 4, or like Bishop from Aliens, Replicants from Blade Runner, etc. But the only True Android is #19.
So the report doesn't do anything for you in the immediate, what happens is you send it out and they track how many times it has happened between all their users and they put it on a list. So if it is literally just say 0.1 percent of their users, its going to be lower on the list of trying to fix than a bug that hits 1 percent. Its understandable to feel how you do, however if literally everyone sent in the reports, the devs would be able to figure out what is going wrong to know what to fix in the first place.
Sending the report gives the IT team ideas as to what the issue is so they can release patches that fix those issues. It's like voting. You dont have to do it, but if you do it, it can potentially be useful. Maybe. Sometimes.
"Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine", should have been a big clue. Vegeta did what he did, because nobody is going to kill Goku but him. That said, he wants to beat Goku at his best. So he wasn't going to cheap shot Goku while he was crippled from the heart virus and drained from Android 19.
Vegeta beating the androids is the biggest change I miss from the original. The fight with 19 is almost identical to the original with some pretty badass Vegeta lines added by the Abridged series, but instead of running away, the other android plans to fight Vegeta claiming the saiyan can't possibly have the energy to keep going. Vegeta knows the android is right cause he is just barely maintaining his super saiyan form, but instead of giving in, he performs the most epic bluff in the history of the show that even fools the viewer. After a few tense moments, the android runs, Vegeta demands a sensu bean and then chases after. They obviously changed it for the comedy, and I get it, but I miss that moment for Vegeta.
I think in the show itself the medicine given to Goku is reactive not preventive so even if he took the medecine before the virus arrived to his heart it would have done nothing. In this timeline Goku gets the virus way later not before like in Trunks timeline so the medicine is just starting to work as soon as the virus gets present in his heart. But here Team Four Star try to make Goku look dumb for comedy purposes.

So the reason for the heart failure and why Future Trunks in the actual show is actually the Sensu beans. The beans affected Goku in the same way of the abridge show. So yea, the beans just made it worse.
@@ChicagoReactsSensu beans accelerate natural processes like healing and recovery of stamina (and also provide about a weeks worth of nourishment per bean), but they aren't true cure-alls. i.e. missing limbs won't be healed back unless they could be re-attached first (i.e. if you sewed a missing arm back on or at least held it to the stump, the Sensu bean could potentially fix it depending on how bad the damage was (if the cut isn't clean, it might not heal fully or leave a lot of scarring)). Or in Goku's case, an illness that won't recover naturally on it's own won't be healed, and the sensu bean can actually accelerate it's progress (i.e. if you had Cancer a sensu bean would make it MUCH worse). Yamcha healed back, since while there was a hole, nothing was actually missing, it was just split apart, so the Sensu bean could fix that. Where as it DID NOT work on Goku vs Raditz, as he had a full on hole in his chest and was missing critical parts of organs.
The VA for Bulma also voices kid Momonosuke in the One Piece dub, which is quite the achievement of starting in a silly interned fanparody. DBZA will be casting professional VA talent in this season, although they had a few cameo's for DJSexidillionaire aka Chris Sabat, the VA for Piccolo, Vegeta and other in the official Funamation dub of DBZ.
I think there were technically 6 androids and 8 cyborgs (that's including Cell and Cell Max). Also sending a report only technically helps the company ensure OTHER customers have less likely odds of encountering the same problem; whereas, you're still stuck with the current inconvenience. Basically they use the info to improve their software for future incidents, but you're right it does absolutely nothing for the here and now! xD
So the android/cyborg thing is an unfortunate side effect of translation. The japanese word used, which i would butcher the spelling of, is more inclusive and covers both cyborgs AND androids (and red ribbons's creations are actually a mix of both). Android is closer to the literal translation of the word's meaning ("artificial humans") but the most famous numbered creations of red ribbon are modified humans, which caused some contention. But if we called them cyborgs, people would be complaining because some of them (android 8, as an example from the series prior to abridged so I'm not spoiling anything) are actually androids, not cyborgs. Personally i just think the whole debate is funny.
I mean, Goku is 5'9. He's not super short, but he's not a tall guy either. Vegeta is 5'5. Krillin is 5'1. Vegeta is exactly between Goku and Krillin's heights. That said, Krillin's official height imo has never made sense with the way he is drawn. He looks much shorter than the other characters.

The timeline changed because of timey wimey stuff, and Goku's heart condition came much later than in the actual timeline where he died. Hence why he didn't take the medicine since the symptoms didn't appear when Trunks foretold. (At least that's my memory of it).
Yeah, he has to take it as it's happening. Otherwise, the medicine is useless, so he just got really unlucky it happened during the actual fight.

Not true, goku did stopped becouse the medicine still there he didn't use it all, the day where androids showed up was the same that trunks said so the time of the heart attack is different and trunks also said to him that he didn't fight the androids at all becouse he did die before so he probably just thinked that if before meeting the androids he was all right mean he already eliminated the virus and doesn't need anymore to take the medicine so he did take it but stopped a bit before to meet the androids, he should have continue to take it until he did finish it so the virus wasn't completely being killed and regrowth until the day where he got heart attack which is in fact a different day becouse goku himself did alterated the days of the heart attack by taking a bit of medicine, also there is an important thing that i can't say becouse would be an important spoiler but is crucial for goku's heart attack discussion, also is not that the virus is there only by the moment goku got the heart attack, the virus is there by times before the only thing is that goku did stopped so did let it grow again
I've always assumed the virus happened later because of how much training they were doing in preparation for the androids. Like his body was stronger than the Goku in the other timeline, so it took longer for the virus to kick in.

Trunks killing them left Goku in way better shape before he even started training, which let him get more comfortable controlling his power in super saiyan

Software Developer here. Sending a report basically gives a bunch of (hopefully) relevant information that helps the developers in trying to figure out what caused your software to crash/fail and fix it. The report itself isn't meant to resolve anything but the more reports they receive about the same problem the higher the likelihood they'll be able to hunt down the cause. Additionally, if they sudden start receiving a large number of reports for the same thing, they'll most likely prioritize that issue since it's probably affecting a lot of people.

Vegeta beating 19 is one of his best moments in the show, and what a lot of people don’t realize is that 19 was draining his energy the whole time he had him locked in that grip, and Vegeta got more drained than people think. His ego just helped power him through it

Also, in DBZA, he doesn't actually start draining Vegeta. When the "get a workout in" joke is made, 19's response is "INITIATING...ENERGY...DRAIN..."
Piccolo even explained it in the actual show. After Vegeta acts unfazed by 19 in order to scare 20 into fleeing, Piccolo points out that Vegeta was almost completely drained of his energy. That if 20 had called his bluff, Vegeta wouldn't have had the strength to defend himself. Instead, Vegeta acted tough to scare off 20, giving him a chance to recuperate with a senzu bean.
After three years, Gohan is like 9. In the show, it took two Nemekian years to wish everyone back, which is one year on earth, so Gohan was 6 when Trunks defeated Frieza and King Cold. So, three years have passed, and Gohan is now 9.

True but as I recall he's right on the cusp of his birthday when the arc starts so he's closer to 10. Gohan's birthday is May 18th and the "androids" arrive on May 12th, less than a week before turning 10.

The androids that are energy absorption models have those red nodes on their hands as seen when 19 absorbed Goku’s kamehameha earlier but it is only seen on 19 and gero so it isn’t something to worry about anymore

Unfortunately Toriyama was forced to tag on another arc, and that is a difficult task if you basically wrapped up any character progression. That is where your response gets in.

I think it's a holdover from Dragon Ball. Goku encountered Androids created by the Red Ribbon Army before, but they were actually entirely mechanical.

Cell Saga 11. He spent 1 year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber which age jumps him. His legal age is 10, but physically he is 11. Buu saga occurs 7 years later, but Gohan is described as 16. The reason can be described as 7 years not being 7 full years but simply a general statement.

The criteria for Super Saiyan was primarily the combination of having the power threshold and emotional stress. For Vegeta, in the anime, they showed him essentially in danger in an asteroid belt or something. The fear of having his own life in danger was what took him him over that threshold. I'm not sure if that's in the manga though. (Also, that criteria kinda changes way later on, probably because Toriyama forgot about it - dude was notorious for forgetting his own lore sometimes.)

There are a few explanations for what went on with Goku and his heart attack in terms of canon DBZ. The main one is that Goku's heart condition is a virus, and the medicine that future Bulma developed was a CURE for it. Meaning you take it when you start to experience *symptoms.* When everybody pokes fun at Goku not taking the medicine, that's because they're confusing it with a vaccine, which you take BEFORE you start experiencing symptoms.
Goku was also supposed to contract the heart virus way earlier, dying to it before the androids even appear in the first place. In this timeline, however, Trunks' time-meddling caused Goku to develop the virus further along on the timeline, so he started experiencing the symptoms DURING the fight against the androids so they had to give him the medicine then rather than before, since the medicine won't do anything if he doesn't have the virus it's supposed to cure.

I fell like "artificial human" kinda defines an android. The first that appears back in OG DB was all mechanical as well. And since there is the term "cyborg" in Japanese, I guess Toriyama just called 17 and 18 "artificial human" as well to keep the naming consistency.

This is around where I start wishing the human characters had learned Kaio-ken to stay somewhat relevant.
If Tien Kai-o-kened in the Tournament of Power it would have been dope, like his body can finally handle it. King Kai could have been like: Do it now! And then BAM
Tien did adapt some of the elements of it into his Shin Kikohou, which allows him to burn physical power to fuel it, like the Kaio-ken, instead of burning his lifeforce directly like the original version did.
It can still kill you if over-used, but as long as you survive, Sensu beans can fix the damage it causes.

It's probably already been said, but Saiyans are prone to radical growth spurts, as well as sometimes going several years without much change to their height at all. So their height isn't indicative of their age the same as humans.
I actually knew somebody in high school like that. Freshman year, he was one of the shortest kids in our class. Then summer came, and upon returning for sophomore year, he was suddenly the tallest in our class. With the entire first day back filled with everybody seeing him, and being like, "What the f- happened?"

If you can believe (I couldn't), Kondo (author's second editor and the one in charge for most of what matters) somehow saw girl's would love the angry troll doll back when he was still beating the life out of his vassal in the first fight. This changed the plan to have him lose and permanently die to Goku on Namek as the main villain (creating Frieza to do that instead). Vegeta was only killed in response to fan letters asking him to live (which annoys Toriyama **who gave Bulma to Vegeta in a continuation of his anger from the past when asked to pair her with Goku even by his previous editor**). After the rez, he's a different character used for plot convenience.

Goku's actual heart problem was a virus he contracted while on the planet where he learned how to teleport. The medicine Trunks gave him was an orally-administered vaccine to the virus that Bulma spent years developing after the virus killed Goku in his timeline. Trunks told Goku to take it when the symptoms appear. Trunks' interference created a butterfly effect, such that the virus took a couple more years to progress to the point where symptoms started. By the time symptoms started to appear, I think Goku had either forgotten about or just written the virus off. Also, you were right about Super Saiyan making it worse. Transforming into a Super Saiyan involves tapping into the emotions that first triggered the transformation. That emotion is always some manner of fury or desperation, so the transformation gets the heart racing. The condition being viral means that making your heart beat faster just quickens the spread of the infection.

In the original show Goku died of a rare and then unusable disease. Trunks left the meds needed to help him survive but he needed to come down with the disease first. So he's out of things for a while.
I think the report thing is just to let the devs know that their software's tweaking along with what may have caused it. Then the devs might patch it out in the future or something I guess.
Super Saiyan criteria: Extreme levels of raw emotion beyond the normal. Vegeta was so pissed off at himself for being "weak" he transformed. Vegeta's motivation: prove that he is stronger than Goku. Therfore, Goku must live and fully recover so that Vegeta can beat him.

Vegeta becomes a Super Saiyan in the original because his training broke him to the point that he didn't care anymore, and his frustration triggered the transformation. It's always anger that triggers it and the way I interpreted is it happened because he got so angry about not caring anymore, because he does want to prove himself as the best more than anything. But in this version they put a more comical spin on it.
There were two conditions
1 reach a certain level of energy
2 anger or high emotional stress / trauma/ reaction to trigger it
My favorite explanation is the one Goku gives later in the original: "It comes from a need, not a desire." It's a little vague, but also really compelling to me. And yeah there's some kind of threshold of power you have to reach before that need will actually do it.
Vegeta went to space and kept training and training trying to become super Saiyan. Something shown a little here, but much more in the original is that Vegeta always compares himself to Goku. His life goal is to surpass him and become the strongest warrior in existence. So no matter what he did in space he just couldn't do it. He knew that if he couldn't become super saiyan he could never become stronger than Goku. So he stopped caring if he lived or died. He put himself in the path of certain death figuring he would either transform or die. That is how he became a super Saiyan.
Goku is only like 5 foot 7 or 5 foot 9 max, he isnt wildly tall, most dragon ball characters are odly short aside from piccolo and a few exceptions, and those are usually weirdly tall

I KNOW THIS ONE! The error report exists so that if the fatal error was because of something in Windows or some other Microsoft program, they could look into the cause and patch the application/OS. But since most of those errors these days are caused by programs MS doesn't own, they can't really do anything about them. :P

Vegeta is just kind of short overall but yes Saiyans do not grow quite like humans, they get to like 5 year old size and then grow very very slowly until they hit puberty at which point they shoot up to their adult size really fast. And then they stay in their prime until the very end of their lifetime at which point the age super quickly.
So there's not much difference between a 20 year old saiyan and a 60 year old saiyan but there'd be a huge difference between a 79 and 80 year old one.

7:37 The "Androids" technically are called cyborgs due to them being organic beings with robotic parts. Androids are like the Synths in Fallout 4, or like Bishop from Aliens, Replicants from Blade Runner, etc. But the only True Android is #19.
So the report doesn't do anything for you in the immediate, what happens is you send it out and they track how many times it has happened between all their users and they put it on a list. So if it is literally just say 0.1 percent of their users, its going to be lower on the list of trying to fix than a bug that hits 1 percent. Its understandable to feel how you do, however if literally everyone sent in the reports, the devs would be able to figure out what is going wrong to know what to fix in the first place.

"Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine", should have been a big clue. Vegeta did what he did, because nobody is going to kill Goku but him. That said, he wants to beat Goku at his best. So he wasn't going to cheap shot Goku while he was crippled from the heart virus and drained from Android 19.
Vegeta beating the androids is the biggest change I miss from the original. The fight with 19 is almost identical to the original with some pretty badass Vegeta lines added by the Abridged series, but instead of running away, the other android plans to fight Vegeta claiming the saiyan can't possibly have the energy to keep going. Vegeta knows the android is right cause he is just barely maintaining his super saiyan form, but instead of giving in, he performs the most epic bluff in the history of the show that even fools the viewer. After a few tense moments, the android runs, Vegeta demands a sensu bean and then chases after.
They obviously changed it for the comedy, and I get it, but I miss that moment for Vegeta.

I think in the show itself the medicine given to Goku is reactive not preventive so even if he took the medecine before the virus arrived to his heart it would have done nothing. In this timeline Goku gets the virus way later not before like in Trunks timeline so the medicine is just starting to work as soon as the virus gets present in his heart. But here Team Four Star try to make Goku look dumb for comedy purposes.

So the reason for the heart failure and why Future Trunks in the actual show is actually the Sensu beans. The beans affected Goku in the same way of the abridge show. So yea, the beans just made it worse.

@@ChicagoReactsSensu beans accelerate natural processes like healing and recovery of stamina (and also provide about a weeks worth of nourishment per bean), but they aren't true cure-alls.
i.e. missing limbs won't be healed back unless they could be re-attached first (i.e. if you sewed a missing arm back on or at least held it to the stump, the Sensu bean could potentially fix it depending on how bad the damage was (if the cut isn't clean, it might not heal fully or leave a lot of scarring)). Or in Goku's case, an illness that won't recover naturally on it's own won't be healed, and the sensu bean can actually accelerate it's progress (i.e. if you had Cancer a sensu bean would make it MUCH worse).
Yamcha healed back, since while there was a hole, nothing was actually missing, it was just split apart, so the Sensu bean could fix that.
Where as it DID NOT work on Goku vs Raditz, as he had a full on hole in his chest and was missing critical parts of organs.
Gero's voice actor in this Abridged version actually voices Ainz in the official english Dub of Overlord.

The VA for Bulma also voices kid Momonosuke in the One Piece dub, which is quite the achievement of starting in a silly interned fanparody. DBZA will be casting professional VA talent in this season, although they had a few cameo's for DJSexidillionaire aka Chris Sabat, the VA for Piccolo, Vegeta and other in the official Funamation dub of DBZ.
Too be fair, Krillin and Gohan knew about the energy drain ability and yes Yamcha did arrive late.
I think there were technically 6 androids and 8 cyborgs (that's including Cell and Cell Max). Also sending a report only technically helps the company ensure OTHER customers have less likely odds of encountering the same problem; whereas, you're still stuck with the current inconvenience. Basically they use the info to improve their software for future incidents, but you're right it does absolutely nothing for the here and now! xD
So the android/cyborg thing is an unfortunate side effect of translation. The japanese word used, which i would butcher the spelling of, is more inclusive and covers both cyborgs AND androids (and red ribbons's creations are actually a mix of both).
Android is closer to the literal translation of the word's meaning ("artificial humans") but the most famous numbered creations of red ribbon are modified humans, which caused some contention.
But if we called them cyborgs, people would be complaining because some of them (android 8, as an example from the series prior to abridged so I'm not spoiling anything) are actually androids, not cyborgs.
Personally i just think the whole debate is funny.

I mean, Goku is 5'9. He's not super short, but he's not a tall guy either. Vegeta is 5'5. Krillin is 5'1. Vegeta is exactly between Goku and Krillin's heights. That said, Krillin's official height imo has never made sense with the way he is drawn. He looks much shorter than the other characters.
Toriyama never cared about proportions.
The standing around/screaming forever, was the studio doing everything they could to stretch things out to avoid catching up with the ongoing source material.
