Guess you forgot about vermintide 2. That game litterly had whole year gaps with no content and broken console servers. That game didn’t get its shit together, atleast until the engineer class dlc. Darktide will get their shit together, just sadly in this day and age, a little bit longer

"Path of Redemption" and basically adds new challenges and a battlepass. Really redeeming themselves. It's all so tiresome.
It's my opinion that adding classes and penances were needed BEFORE more new content like guns and missions. I would be surprised if those aren't next

Just feels like a lot is still missing.
I hope that in a future update they add new more weapon types, as well as adding skins for your weapon of choice. Aside from that, I hope one day that the developers would add perks and stats to skins, key chains and armor. For example: if you're wearing a breathing mask 15% corruption resistance against tox bomber and pox gas. Or carry 25% ammo or carry more grenades.
Man, I haven't played Darktide since the class rework, and even then I still bemoan the fact that I can't play as a veteran with a heavy stubber (there's even one pictured in his classtree, to the right side of the tree even! GIVE ME MY HOTSHOT, FATSHARK!). Sure, ogryns are fun and all, but... Also missing are meltaguns, which are apparently not understood by ANYONE. What I mean by that is that Space Marine (the video game) and Boltgun treat them as a super powerful shotgun, the Fantasy Flight Games rpgs treat them as short-ranged lance weapons with a scaling damage mechanic (deals more damage the longer you point it at the same place), and who knows what they're like in other iterations! Actually, now that I think about it, why didn't Hired Gun have a meltagun or an inferno pistol? That could have been interesting. Which loops back to me wondering how in the world Fatshark would represent them.
Anyway, I can't say I am very fond of Darktide as it is. Or was. Still is? The classes don't feel distinct enough for my tastes, and the content feels lacking. Maybe I should try Vermintide 2.

Still a hard pass. If I can't log in and target farm/craft weapons or trinkets, then I'll never go back.
In v2 I had around 100 hours played, same with dt. I could just log in, give a dlc class existing accessories and just craft godroll of a new weapon, ne perk grinding required.
Dt doesn't respect my time compared to v2 or especially to helldivers 2.
