The inclinometer works in both directions, laid flat (screen facing up) and on its side. Calibration is factory set, you cannot/dont calibrate yourself as detailed in the user manual. With regards to 70m in bright sun, the red dot is challenging to see and it does error out. Without bright sun I have managed to get to 70m, bear in mind this is primarily indoor use and not places like open building sites where it would be difficult to see the tiny red dot.

Does Inclinometer works when device is on edge? How do you calibrate device? Does it support full 70 meters out in the sun?
