Hello and thank you for the work you do: I love it! Also, I plan to buy an Axidraw but I still wonder about the reliability of this machine. What do you think after all this time of use?
I’d say it’s pretty reliable. I had to change out the motor once but I’ve used it a fair amount on some detailed drawings. I’ve had it for over four years.
hey nice video, i have a question. Can the axisdraw draw a random jpg image that you found online? And if yes do you have to do something else to this image except the things shown in this video? Thanks
The axidraw can draw raster images such as jpgs but it requires a different process. Maybe I'll make a video for that in the future. In my opinion the results aren't quite as nice though.
@@jstephenlee thanks! when im recording an animation im only getting one of the "shapes" rather than the whole thing is there a way to record all the shapes? im using beginShape() and endShape()
Thanks, this is the best basics video i have found ❤
Thank you so much for your tutorial !

Thank you too!

@@jstephenlee Thank you very much for your answer. I had read a lot of comments about replacing the servo motor.

what folder does it save to by default>?
It might be different on a PC or a Mac. You should be able to choose which folder it saves into.
