I know that you've passed and yet, I still feel your presence everywhere I go. Like you've been staying by my side all this time. I've been waiting for so long, thinking that maybe one day, you'll come back to me. Blinded by this fake hope, selfishly clinging on, not letting you go.
All the memories of you still flashes before my eyes, memories so fresh as if it was yesterday. Your touch, breath and scent still lingers somewhere in my heart, something that I will never be able to get rid of. Do you still remember the leopard that you've told me in that Hemmingway book?
Even though your fate and leopard's was the same. Your destiny, goal and even feelings changed. The Ash that was once so fierce, fighting for his life, now as tamed as a cat. Smiling, finally at peace.
Now, I think that I've come to realize and accept that.. you're gone. Although I am moving on, I will never, ever forget you Ash. Forcing one to move on, tearing away the cherished moments is as painful as tearing away your own skin. Your scent that stayed in your clothes, drenched in your own blood, washing and drowning away that scent. As if it was like your body was trying to make me leave you, trying to push me away, trying to make me forget.
This is something that I regret, when I should have helped you, when I should have not stayed, when I should have said this a long time ago but, I love you, and nothing will change that. So, Sayonara, Ash. May we meet again, in another life.

The things I would do for you is un-imaginable. The amount of love I have for you is un-imaginable. Eiji, because of you, I got to experience something I never have, I felt like I could fly when I was with you.

The journey may be over with Banana Fish but it gave us so many beautiful moments to look back on. Cherish them and be glad you were able to experience them. That's all you can do. The same goes for real life. I'll never forget you Ash.
why I love this story with all of myself, I don't know, but maybe because it's touching to see the real effects of love, even on being the coolest but most impatient of all, falling in love with a boy so common but so special, so simple and moving that you cannot forget this guys.

Omg, i never cried while watching banana fish and i had first seen banan fish in 2019 or 2020's first months. And im in banana fish fandom. But i was crying in inside. I was had a very weird feeling that mixed with nostalgia and sadness when i see banana fish everytime. But i cried at this playlist and i cried while laughing. It's the first time i cried at a anime like- 🕳🚶♀️
