- With only days left for the Manipur Assembly Elections, EastMojo spoke exclusively to deputy chief minister of Manipur and NPP's national vice-president Yumnam Joykumar Singh.
From contesting in 9 seats in the 2017 Manipur Assembly Elections, the NPP has now fielded 40 candidates for the upcoming polls later this month. Does this show the NPP's larger ambition of emerging as an alternative to the BJP or Congress or is the NPP aiming too high too soon?

Absolutely, Manipur should boot out both BJP and Congress, vote for change, vote for NPP and other local party.
Agree but both NPP n NPF r opportunistic party n will go with bjp even if bjp doesnot want them as pre poll alliance.bjp wants them all when they fail to get absolute majority.so sadly,d question of erasing bjp n congress from Manipur doesnot arise.
