The music in this episode was probably the best Ramin Djawadi has ever done. You guys commented how Hans Zimmer it sounded, Ramin was an apprentice of Zimmer I believe.
It was ok but I didn't feel as moved as when the Stark theme kicked in when we discovered Jon's mother. And it was certainly not as brilliant as Light of the Seven when the temple got blown up. That for me, was the pinacle!
I think that the music is totaly underrated in this show tho. To me, it's totaly on Hanz and Howard shore level!

I had no problem with the lighting of the show, I heard that anyone who didn't watched it on HBO NOW it was too dark for them
It was dark in parts but they showed us clearly what we needed to see at all times. I think they had to cheat a little with the lighting because they're working on a much smaller budget than a blockbuster movie so that is how they hid some of the effects. Entirely forgivable, imo.
Maybe you should learn what contrast is & what backlighting does, then you wouldn't have to turn up your brightness.

Charlie Chaman yea captain America causing a causal loop after they explicitly stated that’s not how it work is amazing! If it wasn’t a causal loop then he teleported back without a platform in which case they built the platform for nothing. Also you can dial out from the present and teleport a giant spaceship to the future but the avengers had to use one pyg mixture each to travel around🤦♂️ they’re both trash 🗑

It did make for some pretty artistically beautiful imagery with all of the lights dying off, really set the scene that it was an unstoppable force like a tsunami washing over them. Keeping with the analogy the best they could do was "build dams" to delay it ;)

LOL as I was watching this I couldn't wait for your reaction to it. The anticipation made me dizzy and the scene when the battle first started was so good. Everything seemed hopeless and I also loved that storm that the Night King brought when Dany and Jon collided. It was a mess.
Lyanna got the best death because she took out an undead giant while being crushed to death. That’s badass. But then again, Theon finally completed his redemption arc. That’s pretty freaking epic as well. I cried. A lot.
Bran pulled a dr. strange. He saw arya killing the night king in season 7 when he gave her the dagger.

All of them had a death that suited them perfectly: Lyanna the Smallest killing the Largest, Edd defending his Crow Brother Sam, Jorah defending his Queen, Beric saving Arya so that she can kill the Night King, Theon protecting Bran, and the Dothraki fighting for their Khaleesi.
Just my personal opinion bt i felt bad that john wasn't fighting alongside ghost..ghost belongs with john😢😢

I think the best death is of Oberyn Martell, why? Because everyone love him in like 3 episodes and everyone are expecting that he win versus The Mountain and then CAPOW! death. Thats was a mindblow or.. i have to say headblow?
Theon was the best death by far. His character arc came to an end and you could see in his eyes he knew he was going to die and he came to terms with that. Hearing that final thank you from Bran gave him the validation he needed to go out as an honorary Ironborn and a Stark.

Yeah I was excited during but there were too much “conflict due to dumb choices” as opposed to smart writing. Plot armor was too thick. Not even just Jon and Dany but everyone we give a mild shit about.

I could write a book out of this episode and how much potential was wasted. Did people really want Cercei vs Jon & Dany be the finale of this show? I considered the white walker and iron throne storylines equal of importance. In my opinion they both should have been finale and climax and using this last season as build up for the last two part episode that has movie lenght.
