My family and i were at a big named hardware store 2 days ago, and a customer walked into the store with a gigantic pitbull!!! My spouse used to own 2 pitbulls, and he said that pitbull was not an average size. Anyway, my son and i were waiting on the end of the aisle for my husband. I immediately mentally freaked out as soon as i saw the dog, and my 6yo saw the dog and said, "That's a big dog!" Of course, this guy heard and smiled and then purposely walked into the same aisle and just stopped right behind my husband with his dog and sat on a ladder that a worker had just gotten done using. My husband didn't notice it until i mentioned to him that there's a huge dog behind him and sniffing him. He looked down and immediately freaked out and walked towards us all the while the owner just smiled like a freak and was so proud of his dog. I see a lot of pit owners while out walking my dog. They always want to let their pup say hi to my corgi and they always seem to take it personally when I'm just like nah...sorry.
I have a small dog who is NOT good with other dogs. He is always leashed on walks. But i'm so frustrated with other dog owners because they don't always leash their dogs. They let their dog approach mine all the time saying "he's great with other dogs" but mine isn't! It's not fair that if mine growls or goes after yours, my dog is the one who gets injured because he's small when yours shouldn't have been allowed to approach him to begin with! When I see another dog running towards us, I pick him up, but I haven't always seen the other dog in time. And so far, when other dogs attack "back," he's been lucky and not injured. But those same dog owners will still allow their dog to approach even knowing mine isn't good with theirs, simply because they have the big dog and aren't worried about it. Seriously though, if I were walking a great dane who wasn't good with other dogs and he attacked your unleashed dog because you allowed him to approach, you'd keep your dog from approaching in the future.

@fionajade9000 Dude. All dogs can be dangerous. There are a disproportionate number of pit attack claims because nobody can recognize a pitbull. Any dog with a muscular frame is labeled a pitbull and nobody is doing genetic testing when the claims come up. A lot of dogs are mutt breeds that resemble pitbulls. I've read the bullshit stats.but I've also had over 20nyears of experience with the 4 pitbull breeds and haven't had a single incident with one. The most aggressive medium/large breeds I've come across are Labradors, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Dalmatians, and Chows. Pits have natural animal aggression because of what they were bred for. And properly bred pits do not exhibit human aggression because human aggressive dogs were culled in their creation.

Animals aren’t allowed in any business that serves food or drink they’re even really strict on service animal so if her animals were in there that art service and attacked a dog that is like no shit you’re a lose
By law, restaurants cannot forbid entry to a service animal at least in Canada. Its considered discrimination the same as not allowing wheelchairs, blind-canes or hearing aids.
Federal Law prohibits a business from denying a service dog entry. A private shop owner CAN have their own dogs there, but they still have to take into account the safety of a handler and their SD.
I'm not sure what you're referring to here- the nature of the dog, or the nature of her condition. If you're saying that this dog does not "constitute" a service dog, because of its size or breed, you'd be wrong. Service dogs can be any breed or size. If you're saying that she does not require a service dog because she "looks" fine, you have no way of knowing that. She could have PTSD, heart problems, diabetes, schizophrenia, a whole host of things that just because you don't see "proof" of in a 5 minute clip, doesn't mean she doesn't suffer from.

They are both at fault. Firstly, the plaintiff needs to understand that it’s not a requirement to take your dog EVERYWHERE with you. It’s VERY possible to go get a damn cup of coffee without your dog in tow. Secondly, the moment that the plaintiff saw the other two dogs upon entering the coffee shop, she should have immediately picked up her dog and left the coffee shop to get her dog out of harms way. She CHOSE to stay there and let the other two dogs approach and sniff her dog before the attack. Lastly, the defendant KNEW better than to have her two pitbull dogs unleashed and out of her control while inside of her business. Period.
The plaintiff's dog is a service dog and, under the ADA, service dogs are allowed in any and every pubic location. The plaintiff's dog being there was not even part of the problem, the defendant's dogs were the entire issue.
If she suffers from diabetes, seizures, or the like... it IS necessary to take them EVERYWHERE. And if you'd paid attention... she said that they were still in the doorway and just entering when they attacked.
Keep your damn support animals at home. If you're too emotionally fragile to have coffee out with your dog, Don't go out. Invest in therapy. Seriously.

I see a lot of pit owners while out walking my dog. They always want to let their pup say hi to my corgi and they always seem to take it personally when I'm just like nah...sorry.

They take too long to tell the story!!
The plaintiff is a real life Mulan, she looks EXACTLY like her!!

Pit bull dogs are very dangerous. It should be against the law for people to have them. They will rip you apart.
Your comment should be against the law…I’ve owned Pitbulls and have neighbors and friends who’ve also owned Pitbulls without ever having issues & are loving and loyal. I’ve seen dogs from labs to huskies & even beagles do violent attacks…..
@@josefwasherepurely anecdotal. Open google up and look at some stats. Im sure all the people who were mauled to death by their pitbills thought the same as you
@@josefwashereas JJ says, you’re a nut if you think pitbulls aren’t dangerous lmao. Regardless what the original comment said. What my comment says, it’s a fact, a documented fact for years, pitbulls are one of the most dangerous dog breeds.
@@Wolfbite89 lol youve been drinking too much of that pitbull propaganda

Animals don't belong in a coffee shop or restaurant where PEOPLE eat!
Service animals must be allowed into all areas of a place of public accommodation where the general public is allowed - this includes dining and eating areas, restrooms, and areas where food is sold.
@@Absolutely144 Well it's unsanitary and most of these animals are not service animals these are peoples pets and they do not belong where humans eat!

Emotional support dogs are not trained support animals. You can print that stuff off the internet. Humans are emotional. Leave your pets at home please and thank you
"and what happened was" usually is a lie
'dogs will be dogs" Well that isn't not true 😅
The second I saw her smug expression during Judy's opening statement I knew she was going to have a pit something at least.
That’s just her emotional support animal ! Not a damn service dog. When she was telling her story she kept going into how she was feeling and her feelings before JJ cut her off- nobody cares sheesh
how would you know?
the plaintiff may be right about the case but she is a LIAR because that dog is not a service dog… service dogs do not sit on tables and sometimes go with the owner and sometimes not.man ESA-emotional support dog IS NOT A SERVICE DOG as per ADA
Not all handlers bring their dogs everywhere all the time. Also JJ always has small dogs on the table for the camera.
she was probably told to out it there for the camera
you can't know if it's legit or not
Of course, it's a pit-bull again. No bad dogs just bad owners, psh.
Pit/lab mix...figures
Dogs inside a coffee shop is disgusting in general, keep your mutts away from food establishments
A chihuahua is NOT a service dog, no way!
Any dog can be task trained as a service dog, but this dog is not a service dog.
I’d be willing to bet it is a fake service dog, most of them are
plenty of chi's are legit task trained service dogs.
I suggest you learn the law before commenting on shit you clearly know nothing about
I can’t stand that that’s a fake service dog.
How do you know? Any breed can be a service dog and not all disabilities are visible.
For real, so sick of people slapping that label on to their pets so they can disturb public spaces bringing a dog where it doesn’t have any business being. A dog has no business being in a coffee shop, making the whole area dirty with its mere presence

The another lady was stating she was closed , her telling her side of the story and from her perspective, was helpful. She wasn’t barging into a closed business, it appeared open, it was open and the door was unlocked
What constitutes as a service dog has gotten out of control in this country! Toughen up people! Lmao

Fake service dog
The plaintiff's dog being there was not even part of the problem, the defendant's dogs were the entire issue.
plaintiff was not at fault at all if her dog was a service animal
If she suffers from diabetes, seizures, or the like... it IS necessary to take them EVERYWHERE. And if you'd paid attention... she said that they were still in the doorway and just entering when they attacked.
That tiny thing isn’t a service dkg
And breed can be a service dog. Small dogs are often used for medical alerts.
Keep your damn support animals at home. If you're too emotionally fragile to have coffee out with your dog, Don't go out. Invest in therapy. Seriously.
It is a service dog not an emotional support dog.
Hmmm…whom shall we despise more? The woman who bought her service dog vest on Amazon and opened in from the package this morning or the shop owner who lied about the shop being closed and didn’t have her large dogs under control? The owner of the business can have whatever she wants.
Really tired of FAKE service dogs. It hurts the rest of us that actually have med alert well trained doggos
