I already can't stand the defendant's demeanor.
Yes very snarky
Why is the defendant smiling so much? Smh
It’s called dupers’ delight.
@@TheTwoBeauties Thanks I learned something new today

You’re welcome ☺️
Nervous. She was smiling and energetic since she walked in. Plus she’s a coffee shop owner, probably a learned habit that doesn’t quit.
@@TheTwoBeauties Duper’s delight is not so obvious as all that.
Anything Pit related…..she’s toast
Right... she has a HUGE prejudice against those dogs... I'd never put myself in from of judy if I owned a pit.
If you are a responsible owner you won’t need to be in front of JJ.
Y’all talk as if JJ woke one day and decided to hate the dogs out of nowhere.😒😒😒😒😒
Pits are always causing issues. Who knew that breeding dogs for dog fighting could create dogs that enjoy fighting dogs?
@dche64 that's not what they were bred for. They were bred in the 1800s for hunting, along with bulldogs, hence the name pitbull. Become informed
@@jeffreyklima7612 no they weren’t. Please check your sources properly.
But the breed alone isn’t the problem but the irresponsible owners.
Dog flavored cologne is absolutely insane Byrd🤣
That dog is getting more screen time then judge Judy.
Okay. The defendant looks like a crazy person. What's with the weird facial expressions?
The defendant smiling when JJ says the plaintiff’s dog was attacked and injured is simply WEIRD.
No, it is sick and demented
JJ is all about dog’s being under control / leashed.
and she is not a lover of pit bulls or the like.
She’s all about the law.
It's the law in most places.
The defendant had 2 mixed pits? Ru roh!
Aww look at the fur baby sleeping it’s so cute just hanging out listening to Judge Judy
She lost the moment she said Pitt lol
The look on JJ's face when the smirking lady said 'Pitbull' :(
Its always a pit......
I just don’t get how pit bull owners think little dogs that don’t weight 10 pounds are more dangerous than there 80 pound dog.
They're basically a cult, they believe their breed are complete saints and can do no wrong and if they do then "they were raised wrong "
People have been killed by ra

Please explain how the plaintiffs frail dog is a 'service dog'? Details please?
@@ghostdragon5735If so, it's an outlier. Pit bulls are responsible for the majority of dog-caused deaths among all breeds.
When did you hear that argument?
Only that dog can close his eyes without getting yell at by the judge 😂😂

Yep. As soon as I heard that I thought she’s doomed.
How bout we all leave our pets at home... instead of into buisness' that has ALOT of people coming and going. Can we normalize that?
Thank you. I doubt people will leave pets at home because society is becoming more and more brittle.
Exactly! I went camping over the 4 of July , there was 10 people and 6 dogs and 2 of the people left for a day and a half and left their 3 dogs. What a pain in the ass it was, it wouldn’t have been half as bad if the dogs were trained but they weren’t. The littlest dog would bark at a leaf drop and get the others going. Ruined my weekend and I left a day early. Like I said if people can’t control their animals, they should leave them at home or a kennel !
I see your point, but the plaintiff's dog is a service dog
It's pretty ignorant to think that a person with disabilities should leave their service dog at home
@WideSmiles it is not. Service dogs are trained since puppies for 2 years by accredited agencies. They have certified paperwork and a certified vest they have to wear. People like her call their pets, emotional support dogs. No such thing. Service dogs are not trained for that. All pets are technically for emotional support because petting and cuddling them lowers blood pressure and reduces anxiety. It is NOT a service animal.
That smug smile 😊
Byrd rules! Of course the dogs like him!
Bird said dog flavored, no bird. Dog scented 😂😂😂
I feel like her dog is an emotional support dog and people just use “service” dog as a blanket statement. It’s kind of annoying :/
People with sensory issues, PTSD, and other conditions can be greatly helped by emotional support dogs. There are also support dogs for people who can't hear well, and even dogs who can push an alert button if someone has a heart attack or stroke. It's not just blind / vision impaired people who need assistance dogs.
@@markc7440basically an animal she doesn’t need all the time but had a whim and made up some stuff so she could go everywhere with it.
@@markc7440the problem is that 99% of emotional support animals are *just* pets. In almost every case it is an owner abusing the sensitivity of society towards the handicapped in order to bring their (usually horribly behaved) *pets* everywhere.
Any service animal should only be considered as such if two things are true
1) there is a *genuine* medical NEED (not want)
2) they have been specially trained by an accredited institution for *specific* tasks that are RELATED to the medical need (again *need* not an “I want to bring my pet everywhere so please sign this paper claiming I have ‘anxiety’ even though I don’t”)
For all we know, it's a medical alert dog.
@@QueenScorpioSews I hope it is. Given how well behaved the dog is, I would believe it. Fake service animals tend to be horribly behaved.
The plaintiff's story is very easy to understand.
I bet the defendant has a story that is far more complicated.
I wish courts would demand training dog credentials when the court case comes up, i feel like they would lose more cases if they held them accountable.
And leave pets at home, it's clear this is not a service dog, if you have one you know.
@@MyBizOnlu prove it's not a seizure alert dog or a diabetic insulin alert dog. I'll wait
@@MyBizOnluWho made you an expert?
@@FirstnameLastnames it certainly was NOT you. Live with a real service dog and daily issues, not some pet who you are afraid to leave home to run a few errands. Not everyone wants to fawn over your pet. Real service dogs and their owner/handler do not want to deal with your untrained dog in public and risk harm/injury. Get counseling and get over your entitled self.
Not dog flavored huh Byrd😂😂
I don’t get why this silly defendant is smiling
Looking like this defendant does with a smirk on her face; it doesn't make her look cool, it only makes her look smug and arrogant.
she looks like an entitled sadist.
JJ is in love with that dog lol! So well behaved and sweet 😊.
Defendant:😁🙂😁
SO CREEPY
"Service Dog" Sure lady 😂
Yep. Probably got that fake harness on ebay or amazon
I was getting vaccines done yesterday with my dog a low cost clinic. The lady in front of me had a dog with a service dog vest that was jumping on everyone and barking. These people just make it harder for legitimate service dogs and their owners to be taken seriously. You want your emotional support dog with you every waking moment? Fine whatever. But stop being so disingenuous about your need.
PET
Small dogs CAN be service dogs. Often, they have a natural ability to alert to allergens, seizures, heart rate, blood sugar, or even just serve as a 'hearing' dog - deaf human and the dog alerts for trained types of sounds.
Hell, that's not a service dog. It's a rat dog.
It’s too bad so many people don’t understand Service Dogs. Started losing my hearing at age 22. At 55 I had to retire due to profound hearing loss. Yes, my dog is a Hearing Dog. I took him a lot of places; first, to get him used to places & people; then, to alert me to certain noises - mostly people saying, Excuse me mam or Hey lady.😁 But now my hubby is retired & goes everywhere with me but my boy is smart, clean, well behaved & alerts me to alarm clock, knocking, burglar alarm & other sounds. Even when my hubby is around. 😊
once you say you have a pitbull to judge judy you lose immediately
Her property insurance is gonna be through the roof!
If you have a pit and it’s unleashed on JJ …. Get ready to PAY DA TAX 🤑🤑🤑🤣🤣
Judy's on the case...
why do people bring the dogs to court ? we all know what a dog looks like ..... sympathy vote ?
They are both at fault. Firstly, the plaintiff needs to understand that it’s not a requirement to take your dog EVERYWHERE with you. It’s VERY possible to go get a damn cup of coffee without your dog in tow. Secondly, the moment that the plaintiff saw the other two dogs upon entering the coffee shop, she should have immediately picked up her dog and left the coffee shop to get her dog out of harms way. She CHOSE to stay there and let the other two dogs approach and sniff her dog before the attack. Lastly, the defendant KNEW better than to have her two pitbull dogs unleashed and out of her control while inside of her business. Period.
The plaintiff's dog is a service dog and, under the ADA, service dogs are allowed in any and every pubic location. The plaintiff's dog being there was not even part of the problem, the defendant's dogs were the entire issue.

I don't understand how it is legal for people to bring dogs into the stores! My family and i were at a big named hardware store 2 days ago, and a customer walked into the store with a gigantic pitbull!!! My spouse used to own 2 pitbulls, and he said that pitbull was not an average size. Anyway, my son and i were waiting on the end of the aisle for my husband. I immediately mentally freaked out as soon as i saw the dog, and my 6yo saw the dog and said, "That's a big dog!" Of course, this guy heard and smiled and then purposely walked into the same aisle and just stopped right behind my husband with his dog and sat on a ladder that a worker had just gotten done using. My husband didn't notice it until i mentioned to him that there's a huge dog behind him and sniffing him. He looked down and immediately freaked out and walked towards us all the while the owner just smiled like a freak and was so proud of his dog. Luckily, it was very hot that day, so the pitbull was exhausted and dehydrated, so the pitbull wasn't hyper or aggressive. But the thought of what that gigantic pitbull would've done if it wasn't drained from the heat pisses me off! The dog could've tore up several customers, and i guarantee the owner wouldn't have been able to stop that pitbull.

It’s not a service dog , it’s an esa. Plaintiff said she’s gone before without the dog 😂 service dogs go everywhere with their handler . Her dog isn’t even laying down in the courtroom .
the ADA says "Generally, the dog must stay on the floor, or the person must carry the dog"
People with disabilities are able to exist without their dogs for short periods of time. Handlers are not required to take their dogs with them 24/7. Talk to someone with disabilities and educate yourself.
The dog does not need to be present all the time to be a service dog. Heck, even guide dogs are not always with their handlers. My friend is blind but certain places, it’s harder to bring her dog than to have her cane and a trusted companion. Like the zoo-some animals will react to the dog.
False. Not all SD handlers require their dog 24/7. I have one and if I’m with friends/family that know of my disability and how to help mitigate it, then I can leave him at home. It’s a way for him to have some downtime and just be a dog. Like people, they need breaks from working too.
Wrong. You are not required to always have your service dog with you.
Wow, I too name my lil dog foxy ❤❤❤❤ 3:33
'dogs will be dogs" Well that isn't not true 😅
One thing with judge Judy, she will not let you ramble on about nonsense.

Hmmm…whom shall we despise more? The woman who bought her service dog vest on Amazon and opened in from the package this morning or the shop owner who lied about the shop being closed and didn’t have her large dogs under control? I’m waiting for one of them to say she received a gift from the other litigant, not a loan, so I can decide who I hate.
The owner of the business can have whatever she wants.
Really tired of FAKE service dogs. It hurts the rest of us that actually have med alert well trained doggos
Why do you assume its a fake service dog. If its because its a small breed small breeds are often used for invisible illnesses such as seizure alert, blood sugar and heart related problems like POTs. educate yourself
@@Ghostieeface i think i saw a service alligator at one point lol
@@Ghostieefacefirst giveaway is the fake service vest most likely bought online, doesnt even fit the dog, plus service dogs not required to wear them. Pet owners think it gives more credence, it's actually a red flag. Took mine to dr appt Friday and he stays at my side on the floor sitting or laying when not in motion. Inside exam with dr he laid on floor 5 ft away and observed me. Dr stated best behaved service dog she had met, she says too many know how to answer the 2 questions so they cannot deny entry. For my handicapped plaquard dr fills out a form, not sure why ADA cant do the same, the issue card size of a drivers license with dog and owner pic on one side and ada service dog on the other side. Free just like plaquard. Would shut down all these pets everywhere who do cause issues, see it everywhere we go. @@josefwashereas JJ says, you’re a nut if you think pitbulls aren’t dangerous lmao. Regardless what the original comment said. What my comment says, it’s a fact, a documented fact for years, pitbulls are one of the most dangerous dog breeds.
@fionajade9000 Dude. All dogs can be dangerous. There are a disproportionate number of pit attack claims because nobody can recognize a pitbull. Any dog with a muscular frame is labeled a pitbull and nobody is doing genetic testing when the claims come up. A lot of dogs are mutt breeds that resemble pitbulls. I've read the bullshit stats.but I've also had over 20nyears of experience with the 4 pitbull breeds and haven't had a single incident with one. The most aggressive medium/large breeds I've come across are Labradors, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Dalmatians, and Chows. Pits have natural animal aggression because of what they were bred for. And properly bred pits do not exhibit human aggression because human aggressive dogs were culled in their creation.
