Heliotrope Ridge Trail & Coleman Glacier - Mt Baker

Hiking to Coleman Glacier on the Heliotrope Ridge trail in the Mt Baker Wilderness Area.
We've done this trail a couple of times. Every year the glacier seems to be retreating more and more. Make sure you get up there if you can and see it before it's gone!
It's a 5.5 mile round trip hike with an elevation gain of 1400 feet.
A steep trail the entire way up with a few stream crossings depending on the time of year.

What time of year did you do this hike?

I think it was late September or early October hence some of the fall colors on the way up.
