From its size, to its following, to its economic impact: Buc-ee’s in Colorado is a big deal

- The wait is almost over. Colorado's first Buc-ee's location, a 74,000 square feet mega gas station and convenience store, will open in Johnstown Monday morning.
They will not shut up about it... lol so very true
Convenience store on steroids 😅
Ironically making it no longer convienient.
As a bonafide germaphobe , I have to say , Bucees clean restrooms are impressive.
Lol, my CO relatives texted about the new BuCees. They live in Aurora and are stoked about their visit. I live in New Braunfels , Tx and they are nice. And they do maintain the cleanest restroom that I have seem in my 60 yrs of highway driving . Very fun place to eat and get unusual gift items. 👍
Been to Bucees in Tennessee and SC and absolutely love it. The beef jerky and food counter is amazing.
I went this morning. It’s AMAZING! The views from the parking lot to the mountains is beautiful
I used to travel in and out of Colorado as a former trucker and ended up moving down to Texas out of the military. If you live up there, give Buc-ee's a chance. I think you will be pleasantly surprised about the culture, the products, and services they offer. You just may end up being a regular there!
Just don't get it the fascination. If you want overpriced junk food by the thousands, this could be your place. If you want to be packed like sardines with people who love overpriced junk food, this might be your stop. There are literally people walking around with shopping carts here, pretty nuts. I could go on but the real problem with this place is at the pumps. Sure, they have a ton, but if 1/2 are taken up by cars whose owners have already filled up and refuse to move their car, then it's not easy finding an open pump. The ONE TIME we stopped in AL with our sprinter van it was a real pain to fill up so we will avoid at all costs. Gas just as cheap is ALWAYS nearby. If you want to eat, please stop by a local place and support them.
Ill be driving by it tomorrow, what a time to be alive!
I love Buc-ee's ❤
It's a tourist trap. Everything is so expensive there.
Absolute crap to buy and food to go but "feel free". They do have clean bathrooms but the gas prices are not more competitive than a Love's.
I avoid Bucees like the plague.
18 wheelers are not allowed and don’t expect to dine in as there are no places to sit.
Yeah, I went to one in Tennessee and paid dearly for a little BBQ sandwich and wound up eating it in the car. Never again.
This woman said she was flabbergasted 😂
Never go there. It’s like being in Times Square too many people.👎👎
I read a lady's review the other day and it sounds like an unorganized zoo. No lines so when they'd set out food people would be reaching over the ones in front to get it. Said her toddler was stepped on. I'd be in the back of a cop car for assault if that was me. Big crowds + anxiety + not liking my personal space invaded = HELL NO!!
How the hell is Colorado getting their first one when Alabama has 5? WTF?
We have a view to protect in CO
@@bonniecline5014 Then why are they opening in colorado🤣🤣🤣🤣 I thought they were more liberal than that
How long before the first shopliftings ?
Hahahaa for real! I'm like is there 116 people in johnstown?
They are redoing the store on I-10 near Luling , Tx. And it should be the largest.
Got a Bucees opening tomorrow, I just found out Whataburger is in Denver & Colorado Springs over the weekend lol, I love this place!
Consumer paradise!!! Buy buy buy that's all life is about spending money right???
@@lunatechdesignsofficial What'd you expect this state is infested with Californians like the guy above, it's all they exist to do.
It sure is as long as Buc-ee's is not run by Service international Union employees demanding $20 an hour wage because let's say that $5 hamburger is now going to be a 15.00 hamburger .@UltimaHealing
We also got in n out as well lol
and cleanest toiletts
How sad for the real truck stop across the street.
My family and I are from Texas, and Buc-ees is our normal stop when driving to Houston or Dallas TX and believe me it's worth it. Now that there's one in Colorado that will be my next stop.
Arizona is opening one too.
Its a gas station ⛽️
Gas station culture. Texans? 😝 sounds right…..
I hope Bucees can keep its bathrooms clean amidst Colorado's apathy regarding homeless and vagrancy.
I bet none of them go to Buc-ees to fill out job applications.
I remember a few decades ago when Buc ee's the beaver was just a little chipmunk.
I thought it was a weasel when I first saw it🤣
Whoopee🙄
Open one near Las Vegas 😢
National Association of Convenience stores?
Is there 116 people in johnstown?
Does bucs have the vision for michelin starr?
Dystopian
Idiocracy.
Don't go. Simple
@@Lone_Star_Proud simple is what type of minded you are

Enjoy CO! Texan here, just moved to Sioux Falls and this city needs Buc-ee’s too!
Can’t wait!!!!! My wife and friends and I will be traveling up from Aurora, CO to check it out sometime this week! 📣🔥📣🔥
DeSantis said we were getting some of those in FL. He was like a kid he was so excited!
I reckon for tourists its great but we avoid the traffic.
Goodbye Johnsons Corner
Colorados transition to Texafornia is coming a long perfectly! 😞
We need more Red in the state. It’s a good thing!
As a Texan, that is a name that scares me a great deal.
I live in San Francisco, enjoy mu ha, ha ha, ha, ha❤
@@mfo7611 Please enjoy your Mu Ha and stay where you are. We’d enough CA, OR, NY, IL, WA, MN libtards influxes ruining our state & many other red states already…

But but the American 🇺🇸 is going EV… 😂😂😂
this is sad
How?? 💀💀💀
Is Bucees coming to Oregon?
Not anytime soon.
Probably not, with the liberal's soft on crime policy they know they'll lose most of their stuff to theft.
buccees isnt getting my business i will always avoid this place!
"Former Texans"
Texan always a Texan
No
You bots

WHY DONT PENNSYLVANIA GET STORES LIKE THAT IN SMALL TOWNS
They are slowly going out around the world, they might just come to your state next
And there will be 20 Tesla Superchargers there too.
Let’s just build a giant WalMart from coast-to-coast and we can all live and work in it. Call it Not-Communism. It’s what people want.
To expensive
Truckers not welcome.
It's a gas station. Not a truck stop lol _Loves_ is the regional travel center.
I wouldn't spend my money there anyway
@@Heinrich99 Why not?
@Jay-is2jy Because he's broke after voting Biden that's why!
Johnson's Corner is the classic truck stop right by this Buc-ees, has all the amenities. It's been there since 1952. At one time, not that long ago, it was about the only thing there.
Great for this small town 👍👍
Not welcome in CO...thats insane
Good thing we live in the United States
So it's not welcome in Colorado because it's...insane? Can you be more specific?
I live in Colorado, I don't see why it shouldn't be welcome. The only complaint I have, is that I've no reason to drive North on I25. I guess I'll have to find one.
@@infini.tesimo this isn't Texas
well theres been a line for the grand opening in colorado, so it IS welcome here in colorado
I live in Bakersfield 😕
ok?
ick. Why would need a mega gas station when most cars are moving to electric? Also....WHY would I want to spend 30+ in gas station when I live in COLORADO? Is this for people driving state to state? It doesn't seem like its made for locals. And I don't think you could say a mega gas station brings in jobs. It brings in minimum wage jobs with high turnover and no stability for actual Coloradans. This is only good for Buc-ee's so they make more money, not the state or the local area. It only helps the local economy if the money spent at Buc-ee's is spent elsewhere in the community and I would imagine a business from Texas would keep and spend their money in Texas....
This is why I said we don't need this in CO! You explained it very well!
As a native Texan "your welcome"
*you're
As a native from Colorado, please go back to Texas.
@@Sarcastic_Asmodeus the comment was actually ment to be positive but I guess it flew right over your head. It's cool 😎 I'm not offended peace to you brother
@@soupdrinker happens to the best of us 😀
Now if Colorado can bring the Texas steaks we're all good 😊
We have excellent beef ranchers here ...get out & see CO more. This is CO, we have our own identity here, as TX does too. Know the difference!
Daughter or lesbian Lover? Check out the pink hair, no way that is natural.
That place got more gas than a Taco Bell.
