    Could you make a video a showcasing flickstick on srb2? Is that i have no access to my computer at the moment and i really wanna know how it would feel like, i wanna use flick stick in platformers since i've always felt that the normal camera movement is too clunky.

    yes flick stick seem to work. I did not know if this game had proper raw moue input. I hate that nowadays most pc ports have mouse acceleration as the only available option.

    Can’t play without gyro anymore

    I'm trying to switch from mouse aiming to gyro aiming, but I'm facing a severe issue: when I press a button on the controller (shoulder buttons as well as face buttons), the controller moves slightly which registers as mouse movement, making me very imprecise. However, if I turn up the deadzone to compensate, then I lose fine movements. My sensitivity is exactly where I want it to be. How do I work on this issue? Do I just have to practice pressing buttons without accidentaly moving the controller?
    Controller used: Flydigi Vader 3 Pro on switch mode through steam inputs.

      That's a common issue with gyro aim, unfortunately. But there are multiple ways to mitigate this, you already made use of a higher deadzone, but you can also increase the "gyro precision speed".
      You can also try to swap R1 with R2 and vice versa to shoot with R1, since it has a shorter travel distance.
      Other than that it's just practice, I'm sure you will get the hang of it!

    will you also play alan wake 2 this way? Or does that game have no proper raw mouse input? by the way. if the game has a walk button you could set that to the outer ringe binding and use the soft press activator. then in the softpress settings you have the option to inverse the ring binding. Then you could set a threshold that will tell the game to use the walk button up until the point you set the threshold at. So if you tilt the stick further then the threshold the game will go to run (because w is full run on this game). The threshold will be a hard threshold and not analog like on normal analog walking. But it is better then nothing.

      Yes, I'm playing Alan Wake 2 this way. But I'm still figuring out how to make a video about it because it takes a little more than usual to get it working.
      About the outer ring binding, I tried that, but this game only had a "toggle" walk button, so you can walk, but it won't go back to normal after a full push.

      @@FlickStickVids you could use a layer with an always on function for that or not. i forgot if this was usinga layer. but theire is an option for always on. then set that layer on the ring binding and use softpress. This worked for me on another game.
      Why is alan wake 2 more difficult. do you use rewasd or just add the game to steam? or is it because of the fact that epic games do not play well with steam input?

    • @FlickStickVids
      @FlickStickVids  ปีที่แล้ว

      AW2 doesn't have mixed inputs, adding the game on steam gives me a weird error, I'm using a program called Glossi, but I'm trying to find a simpler way of achieving the same results.

      @@FlickStickVids Have you tried rewasd for this game. i know the flick stick and gyro options are not as good as steam but maybe it is workable?

    Does Control ultimate edition have gyro native in ps5?

    • @FlickStickVids
      @FlickStickVids  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No! Alan Wake 2 is the first and only Remedy game to support gyro aim on PS5.

      @FlickStickVids yeah for me, if there is an aiming mechanic in a game and no gyro, I just don't buy it

    Gyro to joystick camera is also a new beta feature. It's better than the old gyro to joystick mode because it actually feels like it's emulating a mouse. This is useful for games that don't like combined inputs, and you can't use mouse emulation for gyro!

    • @DaMu24
      @DaMu24 ปีที่แล้ว

      Incorrect. It's still emulating a right stick, but the features are expanded to allow more compatibility with other games.

      @@DaMu24I didn't say it's emulating a mouse, I said it feels like it's emulating a mouse.
