One thing I highly recommend that I would love to see you suggest: decent IV alpha pokemon. You can find lots of 29+ alphas in the relevant stats which are cheap because the stat isn’t a perfect 31. If folks can find one with usable nature, all the need to do is EV train, because alphas are already leveled. The leveling is the real benefit, especially in the short time window. I use CC on alpha poliwrath which has worked great in fighting type needed raids, brelooms come available in alphas a lot to get a half decent one, garchomp too.
Yes I kinda of mention that with flareon I believe, I'm going to do a whole section on breeding vs. buying in my eventual bigger preparing for raids guide. I just picked up 4 special Lucarios from the swarm today. I don't really recommend anyone else do that, I just have an addiction now lmao
Just a base pokemon mechanic, in battles where a move hits multiple targets there is a 25% damage penalty. This is true for any move that hits multiple targets, from double pvp battles, gym reruns, triple battles, etc.
Heya - first timer with the raids. I see your builds and all but I don't see a pokemon that can cause / use sunny day. Am I missing something here or is it implied somewhere that we have a pokemon with sunny day? Just need a but of clarification on whether I should use a pokemon with sunny day or not
@@Phivdawm someone will usually have a Ninetales setting sun with drought, you can make one yourself if you'd rather not rely on other people. only one is really needed per raid almost all of the time
None of the raids mentioned here required OTs in the past, and it's pretty unlikely they change it. In general it is good to make your raid mons OT in case you do need them in the future.
As it stands right now, we only see raids during events, and they get released in difficulty order. Usually one per day, sometimes one every 16 hours. They release all of a particular tier before moving onto the next. We don't know what the full feature will look like.
Hey! I really enjoy playing (obviously I make videos about it) and would recommend. It's gen 1-5 at the moment, and they just began add end game raids which are a really fun feature.
I'm very hyped for the LNY raids, thanks for the tips and the content 🙏
This is such a useful video! Gonna spend this week preparing my mons.
Thanks for this Caav. Goated as always!
Thanks for the detailed video, man. I'll promote your video on my channel tonight! I think Alpha Shaymin can come to this event.
@@OldGameSensei definitely possible now that we have alpha suicune!
Hocam her masada varsınız maşallah 😅

Arcanine can be good as well, with a +atk nature i'm pretty sure it can reach the damage cap in the sun, and intimidate could be useful as well ☀
Entei at home: Arcanine
For real though another good shout
Where does the information about AOE moves having a damage penalty in raids come from? haven't heard about that anywhere else

Beautiful. Just want to make sure I have one in case it is needed. Appreciate ya!
@ Yep of course! Better to be prepared
W caav as always
Do you think the raid bosses will be the same as last year? I think they can switch them around.

They've recycled them before, so it's likely they stay again
Were you saying bullet seed breloom would be better dps (with loaded dice) than close combat?
In rare cases where the boss is especially weak to grass types, yes
Is it guaranteed to be a repeat of the same exact raids? Or will they cycle the Pokemon representing the zodiac animals?
This raids need first OT ? like if you join alpha suicune you need to first owner your pokemons in ur party
None of the raids mentioned here required OTs in the past, and it's pretty unlikely they change it. In general it is good to make your raid mons OT in case you do need them in the future.
My prediction is Exca and Steelix will have perma sandstorm.
Exca already had it so that is extremely likely hahaha
How do i find a specific tier of raid? (started not long ago, i am not familiar with them yet)

great tips
So gallade does way more damage hope that helps
Just less than Medi/Hitmonlee :)
Hi guys im a new player here, is it worth playing this pokemon? has a good end game? how many pokemon are in this one? thanks!

Game doesn’t start until end game
It's heavy grinding, dunno why MMO are always binded to grind, but eh.
3rd hedgehog lets gooooo
Awesome video as always, love your guides. How come my OT Gallade end up with you though haha xD I'm famous now :>
Hahaha you must have sold it on the GTL!
