I don't think people realize how incredible that Vitas impression actually was
it's not that hard, it's just a question of range
I wasn’t that accurate actually. Anthony has the range, but that’s about it. His tone is way to glotal, and kinda sounds like elmo or yoshi when he dips down. Vitas is just a pure clean head voice. It’s still very impressive. I requires range, control, and great support. So singing it at all is quite the feat.
Also I have no hate towards Anthony, I love him alot. He sings great! He is great at voices. And the amount of technicality he has is astounding. Not to mention his high range for even a tenor, let alone a baritone like him.
Yeah all I'm saying is for him to casually do an impression within the range of a highly skilled and trained world renowned operatic singer is very impressive.
It definitely is. The only other one who has matched vitas’s performance of opera 2 is dimash. A naturall high tenor, whose range is even further boosted by the fact that he’s trained since he was 5, and retained the range of a five year old tenor. Any other performances of this song i’ve seen have been by a girl, or a male who is struggling alot to maintain the pitch. Then Anthony comes on and just does it, like that. It’s kinda shocking. It seems like he was straining a little bit, but certainly not enough to make it sound bad, so I wouldn’t draw any points from him there. And considering he is a baritone. That’s even more impressive.
