      Panlasang Pinay madami po di nakakaalam sa recipe na to Madam. Kahit nga po mga kapwa Ilocano sa Central Luzon di pamilyar sa kanila to. Maswerte lang talaga dahil ang roots namin ay talagang GI hahaha. Tara Madam samahan mo po ako pasikatin to hahaha. Salamuch!

    I remember my mother used to cook that for us when I was a kid. Mabilisan lang tlga pgluluto nyan. In La Union, we called it KINIGTOT or in Tagalog if means GINULAT. 3 minutes lng yta na prang iniistirfry nya, ilagay na nya ung tubig, apdo at iba pang pampalasa then tapos na. May pagka medium rare pa ung beef ay pinapatay na nya ung kalan at ung remaining heat ang magluluto sa karne ng baka na inislice ng maninipis.. Super lambot at hindi over cook. Very tasty.

      Super agree ako Kabsat sa sinabi mo yan din nakagisnan ko sa Ilocos nung araw. Iba kasi pag bagong katay ang iluluto mo ung galing talaga sa Slaughter unlike dito sa Canada nabibili lang sa Superstore or sa ibang grocery store. Magandang klase itong gamit ko na karne kaya malambot din. Meron akong isang video jan kinigtot na kambing may konting sabaw niluto ko lang in less than 1 minute.     HAHAHA....OK! Kanya kanyang version pagluluto. Pero proper way nyan...sa mainit na mainit na kumukulong sabaw pagkalagay mo ng karne ng baka patay agad ang apoy. Kaya siya tinawag na kinigtot. This way maiwasan na maging makunat yung karne.

    Ang imbaliktad na papaitan ay half cook lamang ang pagkaluto. Kaya natawag na imbaliktad na ibig sabihin ay mabilisang pagbabaliktad sa karne kung niluto. Pag kumulo na ito at nailagay na lahat ng mga kailangang sangkap ay hayaan lamang itong kumulo ng mga 30 seconds to one minute at ahonin na ang niluluto, ibig sabihin ay isang halo lang o baliktad at yun tapos na ang pagkaluto. Malambot kasi at manamistamis ang lasa kung ikumpara sa talagang luto na at napalambot na may papaitan.

      Malambot yan Kabsat dahil Sirloin ang gamit ko. Nuong araw nga nkikita ko sa Ilocos ganyan talaga ang gawa nila kapag bagong katay ang gamit nilang karne. Pespes ang gamit nila hindi Apdo. Ung atay nga babad lang sa suka at konteng rekado ok na. Iba ang klase ng karne jan sa atin kasi purong damo ang kinakain nila kaya malasa. Nasabi ko naman sa video ko na pag fresh na karne ang gagamitin mas mabilis ang pagluto. Crave lang Kabsat kaya ipamuspusan lattan ah! Agyamanak unay!

    Ay Naku ! Your imbaliktad is all wrong, you cook it too long. Imbaliktad should come from a kilawen a baka called “kappukan” dressed with papaitan, vinegar, onions, and ginger. Then in a really, really hot pan toast the kappukan like 5 seconds each side. Why they called quick imbaliktad.
