Great video! Thank you for having this open conversation. I had a liver biopsy in 2012 and was diagnosed with stage 2 PBC. In around 2020 I had a Fibroscan and the results were that I didn’t have PBC at all. As a patient, I trust the results of the biopsy. Help for the fatigue is desperately needed even if it starts as just recognition as being a disability. I feel silly for saying that but the support needed for fatigue feels like it is underestimated and not taken seriously. Lastly, having a PCP that has working knowledge of hepatic functions is crucial. My PCP does not claim to be a substitution for a gastroenterologist, but he definitely knows what questions to ask and what labs to order before sending patients to a specialist. I appreciate his willingness to continually learn to effectively care for his patients. ❤
