Hertford ecosystem pond with wetland filter

A 21ft x 16ft ecosystem pond with natural wetland filter built in early 2021 in the UK by Creative Cacades. This project involved the complete re-modelling of the entire site and we also constructed a 31m2 patio with stone steps and a rockery wall.
The wetland filter provides a huge amount of natural filtration great for fish or koi ponds.

The finished product looks very natural! Does it use electricity? To pump the water around?

Yes Barnaby, we place the pumps within a natural intake bay where the leaves etc get sucked into, without them going into the pump. To get crystal clear water like that we use natures own principles of bio-remediation.
