Haha go ahead and make your jokes! ❤😂 ~x~ I'm learning so much thank you! I've never done modelling chocolate before and your giving me the confidence to try it out soon.
Great job Bonne! I’m ready to make my modeling chocolate for Savannah and Penelope’s birthday in May! Wahoo! This is a great platform for you and your amazing skills!
I appreciate this and welcome allll the feedback! I'm going to share my petit for icing recipe that I've kept secret for 16 years. Anything in particular you'd be interested in seeing?
Actually I want to follow along with your ideas @@beautifullybakedbybonne8099 . If I say cup cake or ice cream or anything I could derail your plans. (Don't tell anyone....but the world probably has too many cupcakes as it is........Of course I'm kidding. Too many cupcakes.....lets not be silly).
Hi! I always work with cold cakes. It makes a world of difference. I use oil based paints since modeling chocolate is a fat. You can’t use regular gel on it. I like Karen Portaleo’s paints. I also use powdered dust and everclear to paint on the modeling chocolate. If you need to use gel, I’d mix the modeling chocolate with some fondant and paint in thin layers.
Have you used modeling chocolate in a mold to panel a cake? Thinking of using the marvellous mold knit mold and placing it on a cake. Would it work? Do I moisten the iced cake before applying the panel?
Feels like watching Bob Ross painting. :D I think you're going into the right direction. Audio and thumbnails need some optimisation. But you'll get there if you keep improving with every video. :) GL!
Well if that isn't the highest of compliments throwing Bob Ross in there. I got a mic today! Hopefully there will be improvement with each video. Super appreciate your comment!

Hi. This is great. While decorating your cake do you put your cake in refrigerator or no? What paint you use to paint your sculptures? Thank you ☺️

You certainly can. I use a steamer to warm the back of the modeling chocolate before attaching.
@ great idea!
Let's do this!
My friend, you need to step into sculpting!!!
