I had an issue where my scanner suddenly stopped scanning . I checked with another scanner and found the new scanner working which eliminated the doubt that it's the computer software issue
I then plugged in the nonworking scanner to another computer and found the scanner not scanning .
All lights were working , IR light the red light that comes from the scanner is also working . When I plug in the problematic scanner to the computer the computer responds by recognising the scanner but the scanner won't work.
I tried to get it repaired but since it was out of warranty they were not interested. And a new one cost rs 1800 upwards .
Then I saw this video on TH-cam and luckily I had the manual with me .
I just scanned the reset to factory default barcode in the manual and everything was ok.
Now my scanner works perfectly.
