Revoking Article 370 was an election promise kept by Narendra Modi during his second term as Prime Minister. Mr Modi has vowed to revitalise the area’s economy, but many in India’s only Muslim-majority region say they feel betrayed over the last five years.

It's a shame that ABC has gone down the path of NY times, Al Jazeera , BBC and The Times .There are enough issues here in Australia to cover , maybe stick to the housing issues and the supermarkets price gouging . The only side that's unhappy with the abrogation of article 370 is Pakistan ! Article 370 was a ploy used to divide Kashmir after independence , there was bloodshed till 2019. And please do some research on post independence events in Kashmir , wonder why nothing gets reported in the ABC about the genocide of innocent Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990's .

So ABC should immediately do a 'documentary' supporting religion based reservation for real estate sales in Sydney, NSW. You must do your background study of the area and 370 article and it's temporary arrangement and it is written that it can be abrogated by president. You selectively not mention the facts. Way to make a biased video by not interviewing the common people of Kashmir who got the advantage after the abrogation of 370 and selectively interviewing the so-called political analysts and self-proclaimed activists/leaders, who are the reason for the lack of development and unrest in Kashmir since 1947. But what else can be expected from a Western media house like ABC, which with its colonial mindset never backs down in showing India and its government in a bad light?
Very one sided reporting. Reporter has interviewed all but one Kashmiri speaking Muslims. J&K has a large population of Paharies, Gujjars, Bakharwals, Dogras whose language and aspirations are very different from that of Kashmiri Muslims.
Why not pass a law to prevent non-Australians from buying up land and property in Australia and prevent the issuance of residence permits to newcomers? Then there would be justice in Australia on par with Kashmir.
