Very interesting conversation. I don't agree 100% with the rabbi on his perception of gender roles, but I do agree that you should feel comfortable in yourself with your partner and that is what makes good chemistry. The gender roles don't matter, so long as you're both comfortable with yourself and both able to feel true security in the gender roles you want to be a part of.
