Base math is very wrong... 5k profit @10k ok 5k to make hat (cost) so 5k more after sale. -11k for element (cost) - say 9k for spirit (forgot what you paid, also cost) So -20k in costs you didn't factor. Now you do sell at 26k. 5k hat cost + 20k enchant cost is 25k cost total. Make for 25k sell for 26k is 1k profit. This is ONLY more profitable (gold) on items you surcharge. Not for all items unless you are pushing xp and not caring about how much gold you profit.
its not even about the math... i double enchanted several hundreds of items a couple of days back for 3 hours, and i got so sick with the game that i had to shut it down. it drains the life out of you. you cant play this way on a consistent basis.
Yes im wondering about this too, crafting the enchants to stick on a t9 must be really profitable right, but you loose time that could be spent on crafting inventory to sell. Rob did not touch this subject right? Hope to get some more info on this! Im nearly done with mastering t8, so at this spot where im about to switch to t9 enchants full time (i think).
T9 enchants can be good crafts, but there is a lot of profit lost on the runestones. I didn’t touch on this in this vid, just wanted to talk about buying market enchants for extra free gold and xp. Tbh I think f2p players best crafts late game are enchants because of the high gem costs for rare crafts
Just watched this, now every t7 enchant are way pricier. Idk if the market is less liquid now, but this method of market buying enchants will make you lose gold :(
i dont quite get it, the profit is much smaller than you explained, u need to subtract the cost for the elements too. is ur hat is worth 10k and ur buying 2 elements for 14k slam em on the hat and the hat is then 25k, then thats 1k profit not 14k, only with surcharge ur getting 16k profit otherwise its hardly worth it, or am i missing something?
are these basically worthless right now for my tier 4-5 items? this same element is worth 16k on the market right now instead of the 9k on your screen.. i think from the recent events i'd assume?
Heres the issue though - Ive looked through the market and there are no shortage of higher level players who are offering 10 times the gold amounts for an enchants value. Why wouldn't this make more sense?
Surcharging always doubles the item, and enchants up the item value so yeah surcharging enchanted items essentially give you double the enchants base value (up to the base value of the item you’re selling)
@@RobMauds I understand that part of it off of the video and playing to level 45 currently, I was referring to the actual energy cost of the item? I stopped enchanting when I was lower level since I never could maximize the value of it and I’ve never made many myself , I’m trying to get into it

Yes but if your goal is money - it is too small of a think to matter. But if we talking exp - you are loosing a ton of exp doing that. A new account can buy a tier 8-9-10 items ONLY - no trash items for energy at all and make a lot of exp. (every customer is a exp!!) Most of the energy is for crafting items for the market, and a surcharge hire and there. Sure if you play slowly and have a huge amount of energy it can be ok... but for quick level up is not.
i tried double enchanting several hundreds of itmes for 3 hours a couple of days ago. after those 3 hours i was sick of my life and sick of the game! this is not a viable game plan.
@@RobMauds Yea i was about to say that. That kind of playstyle can burn a guy out. But then again you want to play optimaly. I get that. Thats part of your enjoyment in the first place. It used to be mine aswell, but not so much anymore. Real life caught on to me finaly and games kinda sliped to the background. I think you understand this. Alle games must come to an end. I assume you’re always surcharging everything, focusing energy, and using low tiers as fodder

If you mean selling enchants on the market, the issue would be that you don't gain xp from that.

Oh gotcha! Nope the energy needed surcharge stays the same, it’s based off the item you’re selling, enchants don’t change anything

Haha to each their own I guess. I played that way for many hours every day for a year and a half to compete for high scores. It’s a grind!
