I didn't care about or know anything about Sam and Max before this playthrough, but I'm very pleased to see how much Arin enjoyed one of Dan's favorites.

Muir was a pretty cool dude, judging by his Wikipedia article. He helped preserve Yosemite as a national park, went to Cuba just to study the seashells and flowers, and was generally a human nature encyclopedia and consummate eccentric. He was chill with black people and Native Americans, knowing the time he lived, and was a very big supporter for the conservation of nature. I'd love to read a book on him one day.

I can't recall why, think it was for a case, I just know they are, but they're not dating (though the creator of them has implied that Max might be a little on the gay side and Sam becomes violently angry whenever Max is genuinely hurt or under threat, more so than a friend should). It's facts like these which fuel the shipping of them and even cause fans to argue over if they're lovers or not. Fun to know, right?
They posted a couple days ago that longplays are now both Saturday and Sunday. I wonder if they're committing both days to the same game or separating and uploading a different game.

ngl is was pretty nice seeing Arin "'professional' voice actor" Hanson put some actual effort into doing voices for once
