Glad you're on board! the fandom sometimes gets weird and all, but they're mostly nice and friendly people, and yeah it's weird when you feel attached to the characters but after a while it's actually a pretty feeling, and after the years like me, i joined the fandom like 6, 7 years ago, it's very very memorable, hope it is a nice experience for you too!
