I was given Tenecteplase for a Myocardial Infarction a month ago at my local ER. I just got the bill and saw that this one injection cost $27,000 dollars! I wasn't given a choice to have it or not. I wasn't advised how much it would cost. I understand it is life saving, however, I now have a huge bill from my local hospital that I cannot pay because I am a Senior Citizen on social security. What happened to advised consent?
