This is pretty good! One complaint, though - the remixed sections don't keep the "swing"/triplet style of the original, instead switching to a straight, eighth-note style. It just makes for too jarring a contrast, in my opinion, as well as sounding awkward during the buildup when the triplet original plays over the eighth-note backbeat.

I disagree. I think that if it's going to be a remix, it should stay loyal to the original in the drop just as much as it does in the start. I think it would lose a lot of the song's charm if it didn't have the lilt to it. But I guess it would have been better as straight just to fit the offbeat bassline there is, but it would have been better if the bassline was given a bit of, you know, *originality* with some rhythms that accompanied the melody.
