Morph is basically the Shang Tsung of the X-men. Suprise he didn't appear yet in a fighting game.
He’s a pretty unknown character
@@lolbitandftfoxysayhello6262 not anymore, justice for Morpho two decades after
Ok...but from where those swords appear????
@@gas9360 they're extensions from his buddy
@@youredelicious9945 hopefully the rest of the X-men get more recognition instead of just wolverine
I really hope to see the real Psylocke later in the show
I really hope to see Joe in the show.
Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke! Psylocke!💙
And Collosus...
We should have psylocke instead of morph
@@christiansalonga8500
We definitely should all of these X-Men were a part of the Blue and Gold X-Men comic series in the 90s which is based around the time of this series. The least they can do is put them in the series- Colossus, Nightcrawler, Archangel, Psylocke, Iceman, Havok, Polaris, Banshee, Shadowcat, Forge and Dazzler have all been popular X-Men characters in their own right during this era of the X-Men.
He can copy other mutants powers too?!!
Damn Morph is OP.
I think it's as long as they have a physical element to them. So he can use wings nice, as well as claws and steel skin, though honestly was a bit put off by the Psylocke form's katana. Then again, it is probably just to show how much he has mastered his powers. As long as he does not let them go, they may as well just be extensions of his body and take on their properties, much like the steel skin of Colossus.
no, he can't copy their powers.
Morph can only copy physical powers related to the body. If those with super strength but with scrawny bodies, forget it. It's like he takes on their physical triats too. Imagine if posing as an olymptic gold metal swimmer. Morph get that person's stamina and endurance from years of trainning, if they r higher then his.
They can only mimic physical abilities. So they can have Psylocke's agility but not her psychic knives.
... that's f* up from the show runner, because now Morph could just change to thanos, Apocalypse, Galactus and win all the fight
I like the design of Warren. It's a cross between his Angel and Archangel looks.
Psylocke too, she is mine favorite marvel superhero character ever in my heart💙
He is so hot to boot too❤
Warren has that look later on post his Evil turn in more recent comics, normal skin but metal wings.
Mystique AIN'T GOT NOTHIN on Morph, atleast he can copy the durability and the physical parts to an extent, as a morph fan i love how much screen time he's getting and he's doing useful stuff now.
Morph is a shapeshifting fighter, Mystique is a shapeshifting spy. While the former can quickly change personas to adapt to the combat zone situation, the latter is better at maintaining her disguise and hiding in plain sight.
Morph has go to *_NEXT LEVEL_*
Psylocke is mine favorite marvel superhero character ever in my heart💙
Colossus > Ninja hoho
0:14 Colossus, can't wait for him to join Forge's team in Season 2.
His powers are similar to Mystique's, but different. She can only change her shape and apperance, and it must be similar size, but her strength and other physical attributes remain the same as in her base form. But Morph seems to be somehow evolved compared to his original appearance, he can change his body chemistry and increase his physical features, when he turned into a Collosuss he was much stronger than he should be, when he turned into a psylocke he was faster and more agile, as Blob he was much bigger and more bouncy. I think because Sinister did something to him in original series, that triggered his secondary mutation, which increased his shapeshifting powers, that's how his new form was created
It's cool for cameos but I prefer the real characters to be on the team. At this time in the comics Psylocke and Archangel were huge parts of the team living in the mansion and I wish that were true for the tv show as well. It's only 2 extra characters... they can do it! Wolverine and the X-men had tons of cameos I appreciated too. New show is really fun, I'm enjoying it so far.
Colossus came before both of them, (not Angel tho) and is the heart of the team. Psylocke was just there so that Cyclops could cheat on Jean Grey.
@@dightonazpeitia4350aw you're mad there's no fan demand for colossus
@@CapitalCH Really? That must be why I’ve read multiple posts on this thread alone for his involvement XD. I guess that's what happens when the only books that interest you, are the ones that have coloring sections in them XD
The real Psylocke is needed.
Morph's like Mystique but better because they get the powers along with the form for some of them.
He only copy physical attributes not powers
best use of Morph
It's interesting to see a shapeshifter being able to copy the abilities of the person not just the look, usually when they copy someone who can fly at most they can just glide and I think when Mystique tried to do something similar to Morph turning into Colossus she got taken down. But I'm not up to date on the abilities of Marvel shapeshifters except for the Skrulls.
I’m sorry Morph got busy in this episode. Where was this Morph early in the original series? He did it when he came back but got dog walked by Sentinels in ep 1 of the original. I need this energy from him every episode lol
Ikr!? He isn’t treated like a one off character anymore and is actually a real character in the fights.
Morph ability can change any appearance
More like their natural strengths and agility. In where he fought against the sentinels and Master Mold, he turned into Omega Red, Sasquatch, Angel and Longshot
Has anybody noticed the Spider-Man Easter egg at the beginning of the first episode?
It’d be nice if most the real ones join the X-Men on this show (like how they did in the comics)
It's Morphin' time.
First time we've seen Colossus in uniform.
I think they should put the actual appearances in the right spots. ✅️ just makes it better because then it also Amps up the comic scene.
Morph's abilities are kinda crazy. Essentially he could become Apocalypse or Juggernaut and take out any oponent
He can only copy physical not non-physical powers
@@jackkolero Juggernaut is full physical
Hoping we get to see the real Archangel
see in the MOVIE Mystique's DNA was used in the Sentinal program
like if say morph can do what raven does but also with abilities and not fake ones dude is omega already he's just WHITE DARWIN.
OR he actually is Darwin just dosn't remeber he died in FIRST CLASS>
The white face is the look of the Age of Apocalypse/Exiles version of Morph.
Colossus in his uniform and not the jeans and tank top. Hope we actually see Colossus in this
I would love to see Morph vs Mystique. I think Morph is the superior shifter.
They forgot Professor X, Jean Grey and Sabertooth
You know what the horrible part is? Now we cant be sure if the character is going to actually guest star or turn out to be Morph.
Exactly my worries about Nightcrawler x'D
Faltó sabertooth
Morphs powers are cool and all, but why isn't he able to copy Psylocke's pink plasma sword? That's what makes her awesome. 🙁
Only the physical aspect.
At 0:06🤠🤠🤠🤠
didn't he die in the first episode of the old show?
They came back in season 2 after enough fan pressure.
No he didn’t die Mr. Sinister took his body and kept him alive while his unconscious then he put stuff in his brain so he can brainwashed him
Morph was kind of a chump in the original series, really glad that the're having use his powers in grat ways now.
So is Morph just naked all the time?
How to you make swords? They do not know what they want Morph to be
this is NOT a good idea of having their powers... because then just let morph do thanos, galactus, or apocalypse and win all the battle
Daqui a pouco vão dizer que o Morph pode soltar raios pelos olhos se tomar a forma do Ciclope. Simplesmente não é assim que funciona. Preguiçoso
*WOKE*
Cry harder, lol
@@rayawiratheir tears are delicious 😂😂
This was a terrific idea.
Any X-Men that's missing from the show can cameo through Morph. Whoever idea that was should get a raise.
Possibly a case of FORESHADOWING??
THANK YOU! Finally someone who understands.
@@alphaprime1000If you're talking about any of the characters Morph changes into, then man that would be just great. Especially Psylocke.
@@Lucasjordan0789Thank you kindly.
@@alphaprime1000 you mean the foreshadow of Jean missing when he turned into her at the bar😏
He also mimics Sabertooth at the end of ep 2 to rouse a reaction from Wolverine
I like to think him and wolveirne spar alot while he shapeshifts into villains and stuff, would be super fun ngl.
They were sparing for fun. Wolverine was in a antisocial/bad mood and Morph knew a sparring match would cheer him up.
That was funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is a nice touch
funny enough he already did that in the '92 show in season 2
Morph taking on abilities like The Impossible Man.
I’m not so sure but it must be the results of sinister tampering with his genes
Oh dam
It's Morphin time, sorry i couldn't resist
He should say that at least once.
Oh that's good.
Try Dino buckler because PR was whitewash.
Very clever! Let's hope they do add that as one of Morph's lines like it's suggest in these comments.
😂😢
Morph being able to copy powers was in the original cartoon. When they fought Master Mold, Morph was able to turn into Omega Red and use his metal tentacles and he could emulate Sasquatch's super strength. They never explained how he does it but he was captured and experimented on by Mister Sinister, so maybe his powers were enhanced.
This....
yea but morph can't copy adamantium, so when he was omega red the metal tentacles were imitation metal that morphed out of Morph's skin. the first x-men film also took a page out of x-men tas morph when mystique turned into wolverine and had metal non-adamantium claws
he just takes their shape, those tentacles are just parts of his fingers, he can harden his skin to make it pretty tough, but it isn't AS tough as Colossus, ect.
EXiles explained it the best: Morph can emulate the physical attributes of anyone he turns into, and is even more effective the more they know about them.
Even Mystique with her shape shifting can't beat that
Morph is a shape shifting mutant, similar to Mystique.
In the original animated series, Morph was based off a character that appeared in the X-MEN comic book series in the 1970s. His name was the Changeling and he died while inpersonating Professor X.
In the '97 series, Morph is based off the comic book character of the same name that apeared in MUTANT X & EXILES comic series.
AoA and Exiles Morph were alternate reality versions of Changeling. Also, 616 Changeling was a low-level telepath in addition to being a shapeshifter.
Morph was created way before mystique dating back to X-Men # 35 through # 47 his name was originally the changling he got killed in the form of xivar in 1967 the later bought him back for the 90s animated series but changed his name to morph due to dc comics beast boy using the name the changling
So, wait, he can take on the abilities of whoever he shapeshifters into?
@@renahgade1750 yes he always had that's what people never understood
@@damienlomax1946 Rewatching scenes from the 92 show. He actually could... That is absolutely ridiculous. And not in a good way, Unless they establish limitations to his powers, every battle he's in will cause people to ask questions like "But why didn't he turn into [enter superhero name]?".
Comic book Changeling certainly couldn't replicate powers. He was simply a shapeshifter and a low-level telepath.
Morph always understood the assignment
I sure hope we get the real Psylocke.
i think so long as morph is here then we probably won't, cheaper to have a cameo than to find a voice actor for each new character
And the real deathstrike, ngl but im hoping she finally has the inner peace from losing her father Professor Oyama, and maybe, Just maybe she and wolverine could rekindle their relationship, (I know it's weird but the Lady Deathstrike episode was the very first episode i watched when I watched X-Men for rhe first time, its also how i got familiar with the morlocks, RIP Leech 😔😔😔)
Morph turning into Psylocke is kinda hot. 😅
Hope Psylocke officially joins the team sometimes in 97.
I can work with that 😂
Psylocke will appears along with Nightcrawler, Colossus, Iceman, Archangel & Cable to joins teammates. Also Psylocke is my favorite marvel superhero character ever in my heart💙
@@ThecharliesruizPsylocke is most likely in a romantic relationship with Archangel like in the comics, also Iceman and Archangel were former X-Men members, they were original members of the X-Men when the team was formed. In the original series they kinda ignored any mentionings of Archangel being a former X-Man when he was called Angel before that.
@@jamesthong2508 And Don’t Forget Colossus too💙
I hope we see actual colossus in an episode
Morph Transforming into the other X-Men Members 🤩......
Except Bloob and Lady Death Strike😅
So let me get this straight. Does this mean that these characters that Morph is imitating are just new ideas from his imagination or simply they are x-men that they already know who just went away on a mission or something?
They are characters that they meet in original X-men.
This is a continuation of the original series, and they met most of these characters over they course of the series. I don't know how many of them Morph was actually there for, but the team probably described what happened to them after they came back from the dead.
@@gamerzilla6113 But by that point no one has seen Colossus in costume yet (in TAS he always appears wearing his civilian clothes of jeans and wife beater).
@@kaczok1985
Keep in mind, the original show had bad continuity at times. When Angel appears for the first time in the first season, it's the X-men's first time meeting him too. But in later episodes like "Cold Comfort", we see video footage of the original five X-Men and Angel is with them. Then in "Xavier remembers", Xavier is going through some of his memories and there's also one of the original X-Men in their team uniform. The show retconed itself as it went on, so Colossus in uniform might end up being another retcon.
@@collegerebel Ah yes, let's introduce more continuity errors. That will fix it XD
Ah man I saw a screenshot of Psylocke from that episode and thought she was legit in the show. Really wish these shows would give Psylocke a little more love and actually have her be a regular.
How’d he get psylockes swords?
he forms them out of his body, thats why he doesnt let go of them
they are just really long fingers.
the same way he got her clothes
Notice he can mimic the physical blades but not the actual psychic abilities of her real swords.
@@rabd3721
We just don't SEE them make the psychic blades.
Wait? So does this mean Morph has adamantium when turning into Wolverine?
Metal for sure, but not adamantium exactly
So Morph is like Mystique?
Yes but better because he appears to have abilities
Better than Mystique.
@@JessicaChastainFanway better
Better than Mystique for sure. Although Mystique is more ruthless..
@@ralphcoronado1548that's a nice contrast between them. One with the potential to be the most deadly but chooses to hold back and direct their powers for good. The other with a similar but limited power, but the mindset and extraneous skills to be among the deadliest!
Morph is an animator’s dream and worst nightmare..also Scott calling Morph “they” is an interesting and nice detail
Well, Morph is explicitly stated to be "non-binary" by the writers, which makes sense as a shape-shifter. Lol
@@BMW9661 right. I just like how refreshing it is that the writers confirm, in story. Not just from their say-so. Even though, both as valid.
Also I like that you bring that up. Especially since Mystique is a female shapeshifter. And Morph is specifically non-binary. It’s clever change in writing that isn’t even noticeable
@jordinevans985 Mystique looks like female while Morph....honestly he could look like male or female, his overall appearance doesn't specify so the non-binary angle suits him perfectly. And the shape-shifting with constant identity crisis was a nice touch.
@@jordinevans985 or more like an unfinished customized character from a video game.
@@BMW9661he is male bozo
It's a very well display of the character's ingenuity and powers, albeit with a little suspension of disbelief. i.e. He shouldn't be able to morph into materials like metallic wings, or reinforced armored skin, or even weapons like sais.
In the original series he turned into a rhino and nearly trampled Wolverine. I think they're playing things a little looser in the show than the comics
AoA morph could replicate materials
@@jordanloux3883Which was great when he was a villain but unchecked OP characters make terrible heroes.
@@lucasiglesias1894Could he also replicate fighting styles? Or Archangel's light-weight bone structure (which is needed for him to fly)?
@@kaczok1985 he has been shown to be able to modify his mass, so he could replicate Angel's hollow bones. As to fighting styles, if he studied them he could
So that means that the animation team already got the model for the characters who morph changed into and can be used for future episode appearance
I love what they did with the character. It made him more useful in combats with high adaptability.
You missed the Sabertooth transformation at the end of chapter 2.
That part was funny 😅😅
That scene were morph turns to psylocke looked to good hope shes on these episodes
Really hope we see the ACTUAL Psylocke in s2 and lady Deathstroke and the real Magik, and colossus
can he duplicate their powers? if so, why not just turn into jean and put everyone to sleep?
Can only copy physical power
I think only physical powers…like he had Psylocke’s agility and gave that dude a run for his money with those swords.
A literal transgender superhero, love it!
whats the difference between Mystique and Morph powers? if there is any
Little to none, honestly. In the original cartoon and comics Morph could directly copy powers (Jean's telekinesis, Scott's blast, etc) as well as looks due to Master Sinister's genetic mutation to his chakras.
I didn’t know Morph could copy powers either.
Morph is the only one in the world that can shift into Sabertooth in front of Logan and get away with it 😂
He is also the only one who can make Logan laugh. That comes with certain priviliges.
But then you find out Morph's cameos are actually tributes to the characters' voice actors that passed away.
He should be unstoppable 😂
Where did the swords come from? i didn't know morphs powers came with replicating weapons too. Maybe this was in the 90s show but I feel like they are trying to hard to embrace the more sillier aspects that I can't even remember were that crazy in the 90s show. Although Morphs powers are what you would have loved as a kid, a mutant who can morph into any mutant and have their powers.
I thinks they are extension of his body, they only looks like separete swords but they are more like his bones
In the first episode of the 90 show, Morph mimicked a gun
"He pulls them out of his ass" might sound crude, but it's probably accurate in Morph's case.
Morph is literally a cameo fest 😂
so he can mimic any Mutant power? That's cool!
In the comics, The AoA version of the character (which seems to be the one this version is based on) can only mimic physical abiliites ( he couldn't replicate Cyclops blasts, for example)
@@lucasiglesias1894 so when he mimic Psylocke, he just can use her fighting skill, not the telekinesis, right?
@@hoangrevice1512 exactly
Weird I remember wolverine got mimic and the real wolv time just slice his fake claws out.
no, he can't.
This is better than Fox X Men Razzies and Inhumans
Hope colossus actually shows up in the show
I kinda hope they will have him join the team permanently at some point. The cameos in TAS were great, but Pete always seems to get overlooked when they are picking a roster for an X-Men show.
Colossus
I wonder if morph has ever said it’s morphine time when he transforms?
More colossus
Is that comic book colossus or old xmen animated series colossus?
Since Morph can mimic other mutants power (physical powers), waht would happen if he mimics Rogue's? Who would copy who?
So Morph has met Deadpool and Psylocke (For Context Deadpool has a cameo in the original series). I need these stories
Morph, mutante peleador táctico y rápido para camviar en personajes brutales.
At least morph is getting more screen time and mainstream recoginition. in the 90's xmen, they basically got rid of him. Glad to see he is back and thriving in xmen 97
I would like to see more of the other X-men team e.g Angel, Psylocke, Colossus, Silver Samurai and more in the incoming seasons
She would be so awesome
😮 Morph is outstanding and he is a Shape-shifting everybody. Sincerely Yours Tommy Brown 👏👏👏👏👏😮😮😮😮🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍👍👍👍📡🖥📼📹📩📫
People says, Morph is powerful, but he is really a goofball, thus can't fight... But, I said, he is a great fighter... X-men'97 gave the proof...
So if Morph shapeshift to this character he can use power too
- Black Bolt
- Human Torch
- Absorbing Man
- Invisible Woman
- Ant Man
Morph should be far beyond omega level, he's used every power and physical persona in the multiverse maybe except for the Cosmic Hierarchy and the Beyonders!
Kann mir jemand sagen, wer der Gegner ist, von Cyclops, er wird ja gerade fest gehalten. Wer ist der böser Typ. Hat mir jemand einen Namen.
Morph is mystique female but men version
Morph is the fanservice mutant
theyre making morph so cool in this, and im here for it!
As a reader of the original Exiles run, hell yeah people oughta realize the awesome power of Morph.
shame about the Proteus business.
Morph is like Peter Petrelli
It's morphin' time!
Morph also becomes Sabretooth!
It would be rad to see Morph and Mystique go at it. That would be an awesome fight to see who's the best shapeshifter. I just now realize that both Professor X and Magneto have a shapeshifter on their team. Not mention both of their names start with M.
What's interesting is that Morph appeared to create those swords too. I also noticed that at no point do they ever let go of them which makes sense.
he can even turn into people with their weapons and powers
It caught me for a second, I was like: "Where the hell did Angel come from?!" Then I remembered Morph was there😅😂
I hope they explain his shapeshifting ability, because he is not supposed to be able to copy powers or create inanimate tools or weapons that are separate from his body.
