When i quit shooting heroin and meth stealing everyday, my dad of all people showed me this band. It was so magical listening to this as i began walking out my repentance. Thankyou Lord

Monday 06/22/2020 my wife and I took my 9 month old son for a regular checkup and the doctors discovered my son had a giant mass in his abdomen (about half the size of his torso) and the days to follow were a rollercoaster of emotion, concern and doubt. I stayed strong and prayed for the comfort of the Holy Spirit and He granted me and my wife that comfort. God placed this song in my spirit during this situation (first time I ever heard it) and it gave my wife and I the encouragement that we needed in knowing that the storm clouds would pass.
My son went into surgery that Friday morning and surgery was a success. It has been about a month and he is doing great!! Glory be to God. Thank you for this song that helped us get through this situation!

I literally just discovered Kings Kaleidoscope two days ago when I was on Spotify looking for artists related to Rivers & Robots. This title in particular jumped out at me as I was going through the albums. This morning, as I sit at my desk at work, I’m wiping tears from my eyes. What a beautiful reminder that when the storms would seem so sure to engulf my soul, the Lord is my Safe Retreat. Grace and Blessings to you all!!!

Wow!!!! Hallelujah!!!!!! True healing in Jesus right! I was saved in 2012... I think I’ve had distractions last year... I’ve been slow.. haven’t shared the hope we have as much or my testimonies. Only online but not to people 1 on 1. But now I thank God for letting me experience low moments.. low moments my own self created too... it’s making me grounded.... realize how all I need is Him and all I need to seek is Him. Not even a girlfriend lol... listening to this now comforts me, brings me to my knees... can make me cry out to our Lord! Surrender! God is love!

This album is quality.
I first heard this performed in the movie Discarded Things. This song is powerful and so REAL. What I love about this particular performance is both the lyrics and the complete emotion. Performed from the heart and giving the complete spandex of human feeling is awesome. The instrumental performance is so beautifully blended with the raw emotions of the lyrics. It is truly inspired and I consider it one that will always help me remember that only in the complete surrender to my Heavenly Father's love for me can I experience the safe retreat from the angst of my mortal human life.
