Defeating Nematodes with Cover Crops

Cover crops are grown during the off-season primarily to enhance soil fertility. Additionally, they offer a multitude of other benefits, such as nutrient recycling, erosion prevention, weed suppression, disease control, moisture regulation, attract pollinators, nourish beneficial microbes, and shield the soil from the scorching rays of the sun.
Notably, growing sunn hemp and these other crops help manage root knot nematodes, which is huge for us in our subtropical climate where these soil parasites present a significant challenge.
