Great work. We have one of these that is now a dead because someone left the steam wand in a pitcher of milk and it sucked milk into the boiler. Even after we ran 50 gallons of water through it it still Make steam that smells like scorched milk and destroys the flavor of your beverage. My question is how did this happen? You showed the valve that is in place to prevent this. That valve must have failed? I think the only way to bring this machine back to life is to replace the steam boiler is that possible and while the expensive? Any thoughts on the situation are greatly appreciated. As a mechanic working on espresso machines, it amuse me to see components inside this $6000 machine, is similar to the $1500/$2000 machine I see in a Bezzera/VBM. At least they give a better PID controller.

You are disappointed because no digital pid and not much electronics but most people don't understand that professional coffee machines try to use more analog and steel materials because....you have guessed it, their number one enemy is water ! Nice presentation, thanks
Are the wire ties specifically made for high heat? I was thinking of replacing a part and see I need to replace a wire tie but not sure what to use? (the vacuum release valve)
My logic tells me: if it's no touching an heating elemnt or something but just floating mid air any tie should be fine. And it it is touching a heating element make sure it doesn't, that's set up for trouble
@@coffeem9006 yes I went to the la Marzocco authorized store in my country since we don’t have a La Marzocco store and they fixed it for me. The problem was the heating element wasn’t working. And sadly the board didn’t work too for some related reason so i had to change it too
I was dizzy but didn't quite throw up- could you move the camera around a little more? Also, if you could mumble a little more and make sure the audio is even more difficult to hear then I think I could be adequately nauseous. Thank you so so much.
This helped narrow down my current issue to replacing the vacuum release valve. Thanks!

Hey! Did you know how I can adjust the water flow for the group head? My group head barely pour water. And I think I move the temperature you mistake.
Sounds like the gicleur is clogged. Have you tried back flushing?

The vacuum release valve is always a failure point.
