Ik they're technically not active skills, but standby skills SHOULD get a video of their own because these past couple years they've been INCREDIBLE, even more so than active skills overall one might say (also they're basically active skills that need charge-up like in legends kinda)
Another big thing to look out for is dokkan osts, which are a huge part a unit if you are interested and i recommend looking at standby/finish skills which look better than active skills next, thnks for the vid
I can tell you one thing already. Nobody that doesn't actually work at Akatsuki shouldn't put a list together of the biggest budget animations of Dokkan. BUT keep in mind that it's EASIER for Akatsuki to rip the animations straight from the source and the best source are always movies considering the have the highest budgets. BUT again the fact that it's easier to rip might result in a lower cost for Akatsuki. So if we were to pick the animation that cost the most amount of money I would argue that it's a Dokkan Original and most likely the Ultra Super Attack of the 9th Anniversary SSB Gogeta. It's not in this video but it's a complete new animated super attack that doesn't exist in the movie.
@@CarlosHuiskens originals dont cost more to make. Just takes more planning and time. Regardless of it being original or not, they are still both drawn and made from scratch. They dont just “rip” it from the series, they still require them to be made separately
@@Zhangjiajie425 You do realize that Akatsuki has also taken from Fighterz right? They don't remake the 3D animations from Fighterz they simply take it as they do with animations taken from movies or the anime. For example STR SSB Gogeta's Kamehameha vs Broly. They DO NOT completely re-draw and animate those scenes. Therefore a Dokkan Original does cost more because they have to completely make something up from scratch. I'm guessing you also don't realize that more time required to make something equals more money spent because the people making the animations need to be paid.
@Dont think you understand how Dokkan SA are made. The way the dokkan team makes them is extremely outdated through a process called flash CS6 involving each motion having its own asset / sprite sheet. Although yes some units may not be completely redrawn (not sure about STR ssb gogeta, as well as your mention of 3D animations, because as far as im aware at least a few years ago Dokkan did not use any sort of 3D modelling or animations at all, they make it LOOK visually 3D but its not), but its far from whats common. There also is no “take it as they do,” they still require heavy amounts of patching up, whether it be facial structures, line work, shading, etc when breaking it down to individual sprites. The way Fighterz and dokkan are made is completely different. You cant just trace it and take what you need and call it a day lol. Also sure it does take a bit more “money”;however, when in the figures these businesses are breaking down it’s minimal and varies greatly.
@@Zhangjiajie425 I know how these animations are made but everything you said still doesn't disprove my point. It's easier when you've got a basis to start from with source material and therefore takes less time and less money which is true for pretty much everything involving animation. The process of completing creating new animations means they have be drawn from scratch. There are no references to pull from, no source material to use as a base. Therefore it will take more time and time equals money.
@ From what your writing its clear you dont have any idea. Not even gonna bother replying with some sense if you cant even grasp what I wrote earlier. Like I said its completely situational. Sometimes “referencing” an original can be even harder then making it from scratch. Its clear you just dont know how assets, line work, or the programs dokkan dev teams use work at all. Like its blatantly obvious
Sup Zak, i know this video idea might be shorter since there's way less of this type of animation i'm about to tell ya compared to Active skills, but you should make a video about standby skill Animations which in dokkan terms, they're basically kind of the opposite of Active skills, while in Legends terms, it's basically like the z bois/gammas' preparation mode but done better, it's basically like a last stand moment where you can have both complete and incomplete animations, the complete Animations are way Better of course and you Need to do certain stuff to get them so you basically have to work for It (and they're not even that hard to get tbh) to get the Better more damage nuking standby skill, i'm saying this because there's some animations in these that are arguably the best in the game (One can be considered the best but I Won't spoil), there's a good bunch of characters that have Amazing standby skills so yeah, check them out, my bad for the rant, Hope this helps :)
The video that he is reaction makes no sense. Like how is Teq Gogeta behind Str Vegito? Gogeta's active skill is fully animated but Vegito' active is mostly PNGs
8:35 I'd like to point out that LR super Gogeta Is a 3 (Turning 4) YEAR OLD UNIT IN THIS GAME aka he came out in 2021, LR super vegito on the other hand Is a 4 (Turning 5 this year) YEAR OLD UNIT aka he came out in 2020, so yeah, you'd be shocked to see that some of these units basically got unc status and yet have some animations that aged like fine wine honestly, another fun fact, 2020 Is when they started to make Good animations, prior to that the animations were pretty barebones (and they were obsolete pre 2019 if we're Being honest 💀), so yeah in super vegito's defense he looks way more ass than Super Gogeta (but at the same time, should Also be lower than him) because of a 1 year Age gap and the fact that they were starting out on making premium animations back in the day (Check out the 5th anni Blue fusions tho because despite Being 2020 units they have 2023 Level animations, it's insane how ahead of their time those two units were in terms of animations)
