The intro to this song came to mind today ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taa and took me to my summer pre-college days. As the drummer (St. Lucian) for a Grenadian band (back in the day), the vocalist had me listen to this song so I would get that intro down. Didn't remember the lyrics, only the song was called 'Back-a yard' and only heard the song a few times in the band-room. Nice, grooving to this once again.

Nuff respect to Fil Callander, after knowing this gentleman for over 20 yrs I did not know how much he contributed to Jamaica's cool reggae beat. Sad that it had to take his passing for me to know his fame. Rest in peace Uncle Fil.
