I must say, as someone who knew Ariana Grande as an actor first (like many people, I imagine), it’s so good to see her in a major role again. The fact it’s in a musical is just a bonus!

Glinda sure has a great impact on people. You couldn't deny her superhuman powers.
I’m 30… I’m not sure if it’s just me. But I feel like I grew up with her. Loved her since the pilot if victorious to the TH-cam videos. I feel like her music has been in the background of my life. Her career and life evolving in a similar speed to my own. Good bad and ugly… she’s the only artist that I have genuinely kept up with. Whenever she delves into something new it’s exciting for me… and a reminder to keep growing, keep evolving. My early 20s were rough as ish. But since then I started my own business after going back to school.
I think if you were around her age. There was a time when Disney and Nickelodeon were at their peak. Social media hadn’t exploded yet. And every one of our faves were trying to build a carrer, while we in turn tried to build our lives in tandom. Every single one of us in that age group have probably fallen more times than we cared for. But there was something special about doing it with the people we loved to watch and listen too.
It’s an era that can’t be duplicated. We started off a little too grown but shockingly innocent at the same time. Climbing up the mountain of life together.
That’s why I don’t put stick into headlines for any artist. Because lord knows if I had headlines about me, i would never leave my house and become a recluse…
Grace & time is the biggest gift that anyone can be given. Specifically when the judgment is based of 7th hand information. If my life is as complex it is. I couldn’t imagine what people would say about watered down hear say with no context or ability to defend myself.
The ability to walk thorough that fire with your chin up is a strength most people do not have.

I’m also proud of me… and that’s okay to say.
We are all going to keep shining our light. Do what good we can in the world.
Do our best to love as hard as we can on the people who need it most.
