Thanks again brotha for keeping us up to date on tooling, I replaced my old hakko with the tb3 because of the suggestions you made and am very happy with it ! I work on everything but you have been my Iphone go to mentor for a while now and im very greatfull, Thank you :)
Hi, what you could have done is to use thermal camera to see reall temperature. This device can cause some damage if you trust the temperature you set on it.
Jesse using to high temperature bend the board, iPhone X till 11 pro use 148 grades on the mid layers, for the ic and interposer down use 225 ( sac-305), for iPhone 12 up the solder is 210 and the hold board except for the interposer down that use 225(sac-305), in my case I put like 158 and then use the heating gun I use that technique in 12 models up. My prefer one is the mechanic ix10. I’m thinking buy the new mechanic model for 13
May be you get a heater has something wrong, because i use it at 170 and 180 and there is no solder balls, no issues. I can say that for the specific heater you get because it's package has a sticker printed on it (110V), BTW I'm from a country which uses (220V).
I use the X360 V2: www.injuredgadgets.com/xinzhizao-x360-intelligent-temperature-control-preheating-platform-positioning-separation-for-iphone-x-to-13-pro-max/?acc=3d2d53e5abcd70e24cc444935b88e6ac21
As always, enjoying watchin your pure videos 👍. Bro i have question, after separating iPhone sandwich boards, the AP board get bended a litlle bit, i use 170c and separate gentle WO force, any idea why its happening ?
I assume this heater has not calibrated temperature sensor, so it overheats boards. I doubt 180C can destroy X board, more likely the temperature was higher. Anyway, I would avoid using such heater. Thanks for the video though!

is it calibrated out of the box?
@@fastfixiphonerepairla Nope. What you saw in my video, is how it performed out of the box.

that would have been a good idea

yeah but even at 150C, that was hot enough to melt the 12 and 13 models, it seems like.
@@VCCBoardRepairs no because use 210 in mid layer, I use preheater at ~150 celcius and use the heat gun with 375-50 with the quick 861.
Hi, which temp is best for 11pro? Thanks)
Yes sir that’s one of the best tools I had ever bought from sunshine tools ! Less then 20sec and the boards are spilt quick ??
That's great!
Been thinking of getting this for a while now, thanks for doing a video on this. Great watch jesse
Just be careful with the temps! lol
great video . will see if we can modify the plate for the 5g antenna , thank you as always
I hope they release new plates that support 5G antennas. Then I will definitely use it.
What do you suggest for Samsung sandwich boards?
Not sure. There's no heater for samsung boards unfortunately. I usually just use hot air or the "flat" plate on other heaters.

yeah i think the temperature is off a bit
@@VCCBoardRepairs Can it be calibrated ?
what digital heater do you recommend for USA market? Also thanks for sharing these videos.

Not sure why it would warp. Maybe your heater is running hotter than it supposed to?
@@VCCBoardRepairs So you think its due temp? Ok, will do with lower temp and see what will happen...
120 V or 220 V model, if you have the wrong device then that could be a problem
That's not it. The box says 110V and the unit itself says it supports 110v/220v
how you deal with bent upper board after separating
that usually means you used too much heat. but look up the iAtlas from Qianli. It can maybe help.
@@VCCBoardRepairs i order that :)

Yeah it definitely wasn't calibrated. Not sure how to calibrate it either.
Hi jc I would love you to review the irepair ms1 board separating too temperature on iPhone 12pro max to 13 or 14

Do you already try the D-heater pro from
DUY?
No, never tried it. but i just googled it & found a video. I don't like that you have to screw in the plates. that's really inconvenient

@@VCCBoardRepairs I tried that and it doesn't turn on that well. Just remove the antenna.

Has anyone tried the I2C T20 AI Desoldering Station?
