Had similar issues with my old Amazfit. What is the purpose of the "tab" on the center right side?

I had problem in trex 2 running distance compared to my polar grit x pro. A 10km run in polar watch is equivalent to 9.65 - 9.70 km in trex. Trex2 is recording less running milage and have high heart rate recording both in running, HIIT and swimming workout. While in swimming trex 2 covers a larger distance compared to polar watch.
It's so much irritating to loose such a distance gap.
I don't know if there is an improvement in trex 3 especially in regards to milage and heart rate.

So hr monitor is not that accurate, that's kinda disappointing to be fair. Other reviewers find it pretty good, I guess it could be different depending on the user's characteristics (wrist width like you said for instance). Thanks for the video mate, please keep us informed during next weeks as well 👍

It's a hard one as at lot of time it's pretty good just that it does have points where it's 15 to 40 BPM out. Saying that I did a bike today on the gravel bike and most of it was on road and it tracked lovely. As I say it could me that my wrist size and that other people get a lot better results. From what the watch can do and price point it is very good just have to think if you want better BPM results get a chest strap for workouts. In normal use it's tracks great have no problems with that.

Regarding heart rate. mine is very close to the Polar H10. After 4 runs I've noticed it occasionally shows 2 beats higher (never lower so far), but after every run the average heart rate is exactly the same as the Polar H10. On gps, I was expecting better as I've only just retired my Polar V800. Considering the V800 is old, I thought gps would have improved a lot more. After comparing gps tracks, my TR3 is almost identical to the V800, although the runs have been very open areas.

That's great to hear.. GPS tracking is on par with the Polar Grit X from what I looked at.
But ace to hear you getting great results with heart rate.

It's a good watch just be aware that wrist HR might not be spot on when doing workouts.
