Pirated the latest MoH today because that's what I tend to do before I purchase something and realized I only liked 2 tracks on the entire album. 1 was a remix of a legendary track by nosferatu, the other was a track by hysta. I don't just dislike all the other tracks on the album, I straight up hate em. I remember when I enjoyed pretty much every song on a MoH release with the exception of maybe 1 or 2.. how the mighty have fallen. While hardcore will indeed never die, it's being kept alive by just a few individuals right now and the rest sold their soul, and it's disheartening to see producers that I used to have a lot of respect for go down the same path. I'll happily support producers that keep doing what they do. Please never change ❤
100%. Hardcore has indeed evolved deliberately to appease the new trend of highly pitched kicks with no structure whastoever. A gifted producer like N-Vitral who has produced banger after banger back in the day falling short of what he could be. Such a shame. I reckon that the scene will keep deteriorating if interventions are not made. Especially the big labels such as MOH. Do they not read the comments. Fans are literally complaining about this draining trend. Why not make traditional high kicks with a solid tok and tonal punch? The kicks sound flat and uninspired.
