@@Geometeus short Stroke + ultralight Piston. This engine seems to be a Variation of Ducati's V2, Panigale 1199 can go well over 10.000 RPM So with their experience, updates in Materials/ Design and 2 counter-balancers 10K RPM for a 659cc single is in their ballpark.
Another trick to extract money from people. There are people who will still buy these unreliable, way overpriced junk. Ducatis are never ever practical motorcycles. They can never beat Japanese brands on the streets. Why would logically someone will buy bikes with this engine which produces not even 100 HP in a 650CC motorcycle! And of course the price will be higher than any 600 cc supersport Japanese bikes. Who cares if it got single cyclinder or not, riders care about what they get for the money they spend. Time coming when Ducati is going to learn its lessons for fooling people I believe.
Fully agree, this is overpriced piece of junk, plus bullshit commercial blabla. An old SV650 twin 20 years ago gives the same amount of power plus extra reliability for cheap.
I like that it’s got a split con rod instead of being pressed…so much better if you ever have to rebuild
This should fit on my mx king😂
This looks like scaled up ktm single cylindre engine
You don't know shit about engineering and engine, scaled up ? Explain to me what the hell does that mean ? Lol
3:34 46.8 intake valves are HUGE
also there is no way this motor have oil change evey 15.000 km
Awesome motor. What is the stroke conrod ratio?😊
OOT but that's some impressive TTS narration. What AI program did you use?
FYI, stock Suzuki GSX-R 150 (48.8 mm stroke) can revv upto 13k rpm.
Gsxr150 has 21m/s piston speed at 13.000rpm
Superquadro engine also have 21m/s piston speed but with only 10.250rpm
How is this possible? How are single cylinder engines able to go past 7000RPM?

@@slippingsnake I see, thanks man
Why are you comparing a POS toy with this ?? Lol
My Suzuki Satria 150 (147cc) revs up to 13k rpm, single cylinder
That's pretty nice but that's also way smaller displacement. Smaller displacement with sane number of cylinders can generally rev higher
small engine overbore the same with the CBR 150r old can rev up to 13k rpm or the NSR 150
@@brianbelcher7279 Didn't Honda's 6 cyl 250 race bike rev to 20,000 rpm?
@@Oldguy-k3t exactly. Small displacement sports bike with a lot of cylinders. In MotoGP, all of those 1,000 cc are revving to like 18k
My 65 250 Diana did 9.5
10250 rpm doesn't seem very high to me
Cause you're naive, 10k rpm for one cylinder is freaking insane.
@@alexv5581 Nah I know a single cylinder that can go 13000k rpm
@@GenskiMusic7857 except theyre tiny, this is more than 600 cc
@@txchno4271 Good point
Most all 650cc singles have a redline at 7500
Rather have long stroke, public doesn't have free factory mechanics. Why call it 698 if it's 659 cc?
Regulations
max torque at 8k rpm , there are 50cc 2 stroke bikes that cant even rev to that hi . lol
I don’t agree with anything you say, and I like single cylinder engines

That’s because it’s not for us brother. Enjoy your ride. They’ll enjoy theirs. Just maybe in different ways

Comparing a Toyota Land Cruiser with a Lamborghini Urus. You are fundamentally wrong at the very beginning.
