One of my favourite parts of this game is moving gear around and setting it up, using roads and bridges etc. It's a shame it's not really modelled in large scale in this game, the engineering and logstics of it all. You did a good job of bringing it to life a bit more. Seeing how the tanks and infantry, as well as the trucks all worked together was really cool.
Thanks friend!. I intend to keep it that way as long as I can. Won't bog down the videos but I'll try to show things like logistics/setting up and so on in little bits here and there
12:29 That Soviet tank is OP. Six Beutepanzers can't knock out one Soviet tank (I suppose it's a T-50). The graphics in Gates of Hell: Ostfront are top-tier, and even the tank models are amazing. Please make more videos.
I will do friend!. And yeah that thing was just taking shot after shot. I tried not to control the battle too much but of course I had to destroy that one manually other wise the video would have been around 1 hour in length haha. Glad you enjoyed!. I have a small mini series planned out. Basically a custom campaign purely made for cinematic/entertainment so more to come!. Also all soviet tanks in this video were T-50s. I'll probably have to change the German ones to something a little stronger lol
personally i don't mind at all your taking personal control to forward the narrative. the ai will sometimes just refuse to take initiative. anyways love the series bro keep it up
Thanks bro!. And yeah I tried letting the ai work but uh.. Yeah it wasn't good.. The Germans decided to rarely push and took multiple losses so I redid it and slightly took control. I mostly told them where to go then left them to go their own way. Appreciate the comment since it's hard to know if folk want more of a series without comments lol
@@CivilianTactics2024 im sure a lot of people feel the same about wanting more! this series has its own very unique niche that people wont see in their own gameplay, as playing "competitively" in campaign or skirmish can leave you focused on the macro without enjoying the up close cinematic factor for fear of losing too many units and thus the battle. btw if you're looking for more engagement try pinning a poll in the comments. not everyone has time on their hands like myself to write long comments XD
